Best friends, always. (Naka and Yuudai)

"Yeah..." Toshi said dreamily. "And when you almost got yourself killed by Asmo...and when you thought you killed him..."

"Yea, I want to visit those angels again. Just to see what they say, probably, 'Get out of here, it's not your time yet!' in the best old woman voice he could do.

Toshi grinned and pat his head. "Don't go Yuu-chan. What if they said it WAS your time?"

"Then I'd fall over dead now. Meh, I'm gonna go ahead and try it. Don't worry, I'll be back" Yuudai pulled out a kunai and stabbed through his wrist, he began losing blood fast. His vision began getting blurry, and he fell over with a thump.

"Yuu-chan, nuu!"

But it was too late, and he appeared back in the place. But instead of Taka...was Toshi, watching him, smiling. "Hello!"

As Yuudai was walking, he wondered where he was. Was it the same place as before? but where was the angel that looked like Naka? All Yuudai saw was Toshi. He walked up to her and asked, "Toshi, where am I?"

"Where do you think?" She was still smiling. "Taka and Satori got tired of having to sate your hunger for answers."

"what do you mean? Am I where I always have ben when I died and it wasn't my time? or am I in heaven? Whats going on? You're not suposed to be here! You're suposed to be ontop of the hokage building!"

"Do you believe in Dopplegangers?" Toshi asked, holding her arms out to him for a hug.

"Yea, but- but there's suposed to be a hole near me by now! It isn't my time yet!"

"Hm? I thought you wanted to ask something," she said, frowning lightly in confusion.

"No not really, I just haven't been up here in a while. I have no questions, I'm going to learn my future by myself"

"Oh! Alright, then. Good luck, Yuu-chan." Toshi smiled and waved him goodbye as a hole opened under him.

When he woke up, Yuudai would be in his bed in the mansion with Toshi sleeping in a chair next to him, holding his hand.

Yuudai first opened his eyes, then sat up doing his best not to wake toshi up. 'I hate it when the hole just opens up underneath me without warning' he thought.

Toshi opened her eyes when he moved. "Yuu-chan? What did you ask them?" she asked, yawning.

"Nothing, but now I do have a question for them. But I'm not going back there for a while."

"Mm. Alright. Oh, when you were unconcious, I tagged along with Kaji to the ramen shop." She sighed wearily. "...you were right."

"Right about what?" Yuudai had a headach. When you go to purgatory then fall more than two thousand kilometers back into your body. Then you'll know how much his head hurts.

"He doesn't trust me 100%," she said, her head in her hands. "He thought I wouldn't be able to love him..."

Yuudai felt so sorry for her, so he gave her a big hug, "Don't worry Toshi. Its going to be alright"

"What am I going to do? What if I lose him too? I can take the pain once, but I don't want to go through it again..." she said, her voice hoarse.

"Don't worry Toshi-Chan, you won't lose him. I'll make sure of it." Yuudai decided he was going to have a little chat with Kaji, "What happened? Tell me every detail"

"I said that I still loved you and Ember both, that you guys are still, and forever will be my best friends, and he...he...ugh." She couldn't finish her sentence. "Why do I keep getting hurt? Am I a bad girl? Is this life a punishment?"

"No Toshi-chan. You are not a bad girl, you did nothing to get punished" he just continued to hug her. Thats all he could do was comfort her.

"...was it a mistake that he chose me?" she asked, her voice muffled. Her heart was crushed, now it was being pounded.
