Valentine's Day (Naka and Ember)

Ember rolled her eyes,feeling a pang of hurt on why a lot of people thought Toshi was so cute.Of course,ember thought Toshi was cute in a sisterly way,and maybe ember was a little jealous."If were making chocolate cookies,we probably need to add milk."

"Ooh, cookies...maybe we can make cake too-"

"Cheesecake?" Aiden suggested, leaning back against the counter. "Or ice cream cake with chocolate cookies."

Ember laughed."Im not too good of a chef here..."

"Well, I am," Aiden said, smirking.

"Danna, I wanna try doing this myself, I'm a big girl now!" Toshi complained, poking him.

"Sure, sure dear, continue making your chocos with Ember then..."

"Dont you have boy stuff to do?" Ember didnt even bother to check his own Jr.

She turned on her heel and started mixing the ingredents together to make the dough.

Toshi melted the chocolate over a bowl of hot water and poured it into moulds.

"Nah, I'm satisfied for now. I've learned to control my needs unlike one NARA..."

"Hey, Kaji controls himself..."

Ember 'tsked'.And put the chocolate chip cookies in the oven."You got the chocolates good?" Ember mumbled to Toshi,cheeking at her dish.

"I hope so... I'm not good with cooking..."

"Now THAT's an understatement, sweetheart," Aiden said, chuckling with mirth in his red eye. He threw away his empty sake bottle and checked on the girls' dishes. "Mm, well, Ember, you're doing great, and Naka, you put too much milk in, AND you didn't mix it well, so now it's marble chocolate..."

"Aw, man..."

"And Ember, turn the heat up on the oven a little to make the cookies crispier."

."Mm." Ember muttered and fixed Toshi`s dish then fixed her own.

"Neh? Ember, are you okay? Why so silent?" Toshi asked, worried.

Ember shrugged.She was grinding her teeth together.

"U....uwaaaaaaa...." Toshi ran at Aiden and hugged him tight, hiding her face. Aiden blinked and looked at Ember as he stroked Toshi's hair, frowning. "Ember, what's up with you today?"

"I dunno." She shrugged carelessly."Why would you care?When has someone ever care how I have felt or how I have hurt?
"

"Oh man, not you too," Aiden said, rolling his eyes. "You're just like Miru. But instead of Sharingan, you have a demon inside of you."

"Im sorry Mr.I-Can-Control-Myself-Always-And-I-Never-Think-Of-Anyone-Else." She growled.Not once had someone felt sorry for her.She didnt even ask for much.Why was everything wrong in her life?

"That's because my goal in life is to make sure Naka lives happy," he said coldly. "And Ember, stop being so moody. Yeah, we get it, your past is messed up, but you know what? There are people in worse situations than you. I'm not saying it's me or Naka, but let me tell you this: no matter what, you aren't the only one suffering from what life shoves at you."

"....Danna..."

"I dont want to listen to you anymore Aiden!" She screamed,throwing an apron on the floor and dashing out of the place."All I want to do is to make people happy."She muttered,a tear leaving her eye as she walked away.She knew the cookies and chocolates were done.

"Tch." Aiden hmphed and started cleaning up after the girls'. Toshi, however, was deeply affected. "Ember hates me," she stated, rubbing her eyes.

"No, no, love. No she doesn't. Now give danna some love before you go to sleep." Toshi sniffed and kissed Aiden before going up to her room and crying in bed.
