Reunion of Past Friends

"The one of being tricked by everyone..."

"Oh, you finally learned that one. O wish I made that simple of mistakes." he said jumping, whenever he saw her it made him think of what he did to her, and that made him sad.

"Well, I'm growing up. So I have to see everything from a new angle. Still...memories are hard to forget," she sighed wearily.

"I wish I could correct my mistake" he said as he was walking away.

"Which mistake? And just pick one!"

"All of them...starting with when I made the mistake of falling in love, but you wouldn't be able to do anything about that and neither can I."

"You mean falling in love with Ember? That wasn't a mistake!"

"No, I mean falling in love in general! I should've stayed single, and not messed with love"

"You should, but only with just Ember. You had better not mess with other girls when you're in a relationship."

"...Forget it...I'm an idiot for falling in love with anybody. I should've just stayed alone...even though I probably would be emo now, I'm getting there anyway."

"What happened to the easy-going boy I knew? Yuudai, what happened to you? You never even smile anymore."

"...because. I don't know what to do with my life...I'm sure Ember thinks I don't want to be with her and she probably hates my guts"

"She could never hate you! She loves you the way you love her!"

He sighed "If only you were right"

"But she does! She wants to be with you, marry you, make love to you, raise your kids and grow old with you..."

"I guess I'm just not cut out for love...I keep hurting people"

"N-no you don't!" she said, though wary.

"Yes, I do! Naka! I broke your heart by leaving you and going to Ember! Then I broke Ember's heart by leaving the village! I'm NOT cut out for love!"

"Yes you are! You did the right thing by leaving me, I was a horrible girlfriend...as for Ember, you have to be with her!"

"No, Naka! I'm done...I'm pulling away from love..I just can't do it"

"You can't...! After all the pain and hard work you had to go through to GET the love from Ember...don't waste what some people had to go through for you!"

"I'm sorry Naka...but this is the end of me messing with love. I don't want to hurt Ember more than she already is... goodbye" he walked away.

Naka sighed and nodded. "Fine. If you're done, I'm done. Kaji was using me for sex anyway," she mumbled the last part, running away.

"..." For the first time in a long time, tears started rolling down Yuudai's cheeks. He was crying softly, he missed what he left behind and now he relized that he should've stayed with Ember.
