Forgiveness [Kaji Naka] [Mature]

"Da-ee!" There was a baby giggle.

"Aww, she said your name," Ushio said, and he could feel something heavy in his arms.

" wha...?" he opened his eyes 'dream' he thought as Isamu tugged on his hair

Isamu was a little baby with brown fuzz on her head. She giggled and pulled on his hair. Ushio smiled and hugged Kaji. "Mornin' honey."

The baby cooed and bit Kaji's hand. But due to no teeth, she just sucked on it, hugging it as well. Ushio smiled and sucked on Kaji's lip. "What do you want for breakfast?"

" your making breakfast ? " he said confused as he rocked Isamu in his arms. " maybe you should feed her and let me feed you " Kaji said

"It's okay, sweetheart! The food is okay... I guess..." She held up a shrivelled, burnt, cookie-like Thing to his mouth. She was smiling hopefully, giving him the begging-puppy look.

Kaji smiled "what is it ? " he asked

"Pancakes," she said excitedly. "Try 'em! This is the best out of the batch!"

" ok I will just take Isamu " he said holding out the baby to her " ill need free hands to eat after all "

"Okay." Ushio smiled and popped it into his mouth as he talked. She took a giggling Isamu in her hands and the two watched Kaji intently.

Kaji removed the burnt pancake and grabbed the maple syrup. he poured it over and popped it back into his mouth. he chewed and despite the charred outside it was fluffy on the inside. he swallowed and gave her the thumbs up " your getting better "

She cooed and hugged him, one-armed to hold Isamu as well. Ushio smothered him with kisses, and her own sweet-tasting mouth drowned out the bad tastes. Isamu giggled and cheered them on.

Kaji matched all of her kisses " ah what day is it " he asked Ushio between kisses

"Tuesh-daai," she mumbled, kissing him fiercely. Isamu hiccoughed and Ushio pulled back, blushing.

Tuesday " kaji muttered " Guess I should go to work "

She smiled and rubbed her lips on the collar of his neck. "Okay. Good day, Mizukage-sama," she said, slapphng hìs butt on the way to take out the flour.

' has to be a dream ' he thought. ' me Mizukage ' kaji shook his had and left

Ushio smiled as she watched him leave. "Isamu-hime, wanna go visit daddy at work later?" she asked as she bounced her daughter.

But Isamu was snoozing. "Aww...."

Kaji sat in a desk he had once been on the other side of asking for orders. the paper work wasnt as bad when Shadow clones were employed. " wonder what Ushio will burn for supper "

There was a knock on the door and his young wife poked her head in. "Hi honey," she greeted. "I brought you bento." Ushio grinned and walked over to him.

kaji groaned inwardly " ah thank you Ushio Chan " he said smiling and accepting the bento

Inside were mismatched riceballs...but Aiden and Naka had come to babysit Isamu, so they helped her and they turned out quite good. Ushio handed him the bento with a kiss on the head, before sorting out his papers.

kaji looked inside and sighed " oh when did Aiden come by I can see he helped you out alittle "

"Just an hour after you left," she said happily. Ushio stacked his papers neatly, then started to clean the room, being his mini-maid.
