The Last

Naka was sitting on a bench. It was a sunny day, and the perfect time to draw....but instead, she was admiring a drawing. She was looking over Sora's drawing book and his drawings. It had been some time since he left Konoha. She was going to miss the little guy. The memories they had would not be lost.

Sora walked through Konoha looking at all the changes. He spotted someone on a bench, to his surprise it was Naka. He walked over to her and sat beside her. "Nice day to be outside." Sora looked at the sky and smiled.

"Yeah, it is. I keep looking at the sky and it reminds me of a friend named after it. He was Sora." Naka looked up and smiled at Sora, oblivious at first. And then her brain ticked and started working. "..... SORA!" Naka gasped and hugged him tight, a bear hug of great grip. "YOU'RE BACK, SORA!"

Sora smiled. He didn't know how long he would be back. He smiled and chuckled. "Yea I'm back." He hugged her and smiled. He had missed her pretty face, the way she laughed and was totally oblivious to everything. "I see you kept my sketchbook. Draw anything good in it?" He had really hopped that she drew something.

"Oh! Um... Just our family." Naka flipped to the very back of the sketchbook. There was a simple, black-and-white pencil drawing of her, Sora, Fujie, Xeno, Naka, Aiden and their boys. Sora's Konoha family. Fujie was of course hugging Xeno, Naka's mother with Aiden, and Naka had her arm around Sora's shoulder. They were great friends. She wouldn't let him go. "Do you like it? I know it's not Picasso, but I draw what I love."

Sora smiled when he saw the picture. It was a really good picture. All the shading, angles and lines. The colors were fantastic too. It looked like someone took a picture with a camera. "I don't like it..." Sora smiled hoping she would think about what he meant.

Naka looked at Sora sadly... He didn't like her drawing. Oh well. She ripped the page out, folded it up and put it away. She liked it. It was nice. She would keep it. Naka started to draw another one, replacing the first. "Why didn't you like it, Sora?" she whispered.

Sora was surprised. "I didn't mean it like that. I didn't like it, I loved it. That's what I meant." He looked down. She didn't seem to think about stuff much but oh well.

"..................OHHHHH." Naka blushed and looked away. So THAT'S what he meant. 'Fail....' She looked at him shyly, but then regained her confidence and grinned. "Don't worry, Sora. I promise I'll draw you a brand new one! And this will be even better!" she said, a fire burning in her eyes.

Sora looked at her and smiled. "That's quiet ok." He pulled out a notebook and started to write in it. "So how have you been since I last saw you?" He was Curious about everything that had went on while he was gone.

"Ohhh not much. Made friends, tried to eat a little less but food just tastes so good, you know?" Naka grinned. She was still drawing. The sun was shining brightly, but Naka was fine with that. She liked warmth. "What about you?"

"Lets see...Found out how much that arm you gave me could handle." Only has one arm at the moment. "Fighting, bleeding, wounding. That kinda stuff." Sora smiled and looked at the sky and puts down a suitcase he was holding with his left arm. "That arm can take alot of damage by the way."

"......aw crap." Naka had only just noticed the condition of his mechanical arm. It was...really beaten up, and could use some work and repairs. She closed the sketch pad and got up. "Let's go get it fixed, Sora." She held her hand out to him and smiled. Naka wanted to carry his bag for him. "It'll be as good as new."

Sora got up handing her the bag he had. He just realized how cute and nice she really was. That was something he really missed. He went with her whereever she planned on fixing the arm up at.

"Okay, since my mommy made it, she can fix it too. We'll go to my place and fix it in the kitchen, since she's probably gonna be there." Naka smiled and took his hand as she led him there. "You don't mind walking a little bit more, do you?"

Sora smiled and went with Naka. "Nope, I don't mind walking at all since i'm walking with you."

"Yaaaay! I'm special to Sora-kun!" Naka said, a proud look on her face. She smiled at him and of course, asked the question she always did. "So where did you go, Sora?"

Sora smiled and looked at her, he didn't mind answering her question. "I went to visit my mom and dad's grave. And had to over come an obstacle." He looked at the ground sadly.

"Hm? What kind of obstacle, Sora?" Seeing him sad made her sad. She cupped his chin and made him look up, so he could see her smile for him. "Will you tell me why, Sora-kun? Do you trust me enough for that?"

Sora looked at her smile and smiled. "Of course I'll tell you. I had to...kill...some of the anbu from my village...they were still hunting me. I had to confront the hokage, kill some more anbu to get to him, and tell him myself I wasn't going back. Had to go to my best friends funeral and all that was hard. Saw my ex at the funeral had to avoid her, and my old team." All of the explaining over welmed him he was almost at his breaking point.

"Sora, you can tell me again, later. I don't want to push you. Now let's go home. I made a chocolate fondant set, so you should have one too. Pretty please?" Naka smiled and gave him her big, Chibi hopeful goo-goo eyes, tugging on his hand.

Sora looked at her and smiled. even though he didn't really like chocolate he was gonna try some to please her. He would do anything to make her happy. "Alright. I will."

"Yaaaay! We're not that far off anyway. Do you want milk or tea or anything else with the fondants?" she asked him. The mansion was already in their line of sight.

Sora looked at her. "I'll take some milk." Sora smiled and saw the mansion. "How long do you think it will take her to fix my arm?" He needed to know how long he would be with only 1 arm.

"An hour, give or take a few minutes I suppose. Mama should have the blueprints with her." When they arrived, Naka took Sora straight up to her mother's kitchen, where Naka the first and her husband Aiden were eating chocolate fondants. "Mama! My fondants! Nuuuu!"
"Oh, I'm sorry dear, I just got a craving for chocolate... I'll make you more some time."
"I was planning on giving one to Sora!"
"Well.,what about your vanilla mousse? Can you eat that, Sora-kun?" Naka's mother asked him.
