The Last

Naka tried frowning, but his cute puppy pout face was just too cute for her eyes and emotions to bear. "No. No, no no no no, No. No. No. N..No. Nooooooo...oh fine." She huffed and puffed up her cheeks when she finally gave in to those big, sad eyes of his, and loosened the straps before pulling them off gently. "You said you wouldn't hurt yourself, so you better not hurt yourself now or else I WILL tie you back up, Sora," Naka threatened, waving the straps about, though the seriousness was easily defused because she was in Chibi mode.

Sora chuckled. "Heh...By the way, thanks for healing me." He fell back stretching his arms and legs. Sighing he looked up at the sky. He shook his head and jumped onto his feet, and acted as if nothing had happened. He walked back in the house towards the kitchen but stopped, listening to make sure it was safe. Sora had almost forgotten why he didn't go in the kitchen earlier. But now he remembered.

Naka hummed as she followed him, only a few steps behind him. Though he promised he wouldn't hurt himself anymore, she wasn't sure she could trust him completely with that. You tend to let those kind of habits stick to you, whether you like it or not. When they finally got back to her place and went to the kitchen, Naka sighed with relief when she heard no noise - they must have taken it upstairs. Anyway, in the kitchen, a metal arm gleamed with polish on the kitchen counter, a bow wrapped around it. "Oh! Sora, your arm!"

Sora's eyes sparkled when he heard about his arm. "Yes!" He ran over to Naka and gave her a big hug. He knew she didn't do it but he wanted to thank her. "Help me put on?" He asked. He knew it was excruciating, escpecially with attaching the nerves. He thought there was no other perfect person to do it then Naka.

"Okay, okay." Naka laughed and came over to the counter, where the arm rested. She pulled on the end of the ribbon and slipped it off. Now it was time to put it on, which would be the hard part. She gulped and lifted the metallic limb up so it was near Sora's stump. "You ready?" she asked warily, though she kept her hand fast and the arm unshaking as the end neared his stump. She knew it would hurt, and she was guilty that it would, but a working arm for some pain is a better deal that no arm at all.

Sora looked around. "Um, ah there we go, he picked up a wooden spook off the kitchen table, not thinking anything about it and put it in his mouth so he would have something to bite down on. "Ready." It was muffled because of the spoon. He gripped the arm of the chair, waiting, for the excruciating pain that would come any second.

Naka nodded and gulped. She didn't like seeing her friends get hurt, even more so when she was doing the hurting. She bit her lip and then firmly pressed the arm to Sora's stump. Immediately they started to meld together, the metal and skin attaching like they were one sheet. She knew this would be, to say the least, excruciatingly painful for him, and was sorry inside this had to happen. But it was necessary. Soon enough she felt the arm get warmer, and a tad softer, but still firm. She could almost feel Sora's nerve pulses flowing inside of it. Naka pulled her hands back and then let him hold it up for himself. "Is it okay?" she asked softly.

Sora winced in pain. "Yea it's ok, im just not used to this yet.?" Sora smiled hiding the pain.

Once the attachment was complete, Naka let out a soft sigh of relief and rubbed the arm gently. Her fingertips and palm glowed a mild mint green as she sent medical chakra into him, going over the nerves and pressure points like a warm wave, relaxing him. Hopefully it helped relieve some of his pain, because it did nothing to relieve the guilt she felt for having him go through something so painful. "No one probably can, unless they terminate all their pain sensors... I'm sorry, Sora, but it was necessary," she said sadly.

Sora sighed, relieved that it was over. "Finally..." He lifted his arm, and closed has hand into a fist a few times over. "I think I should test this out." He looked at Naka and smiled. "Thinking for always being here for me, no one else ever is." He sighed, got up, grabbed his jacket from off the chair, and walked outside with the hood on, in the pouring rain.

"Oh!" Naka heard the tell-tale drizzle of the rain on the rough gravel outside. She hummed as she dashed for an umbrella, orange with patterns of green frogs, and then ran back outside to where Sora was. It was raining on a little, but still. She stood next to him and held the umbrella above their heads as they walked, though she knew not where he was taking her. She trusted him not to let anything bad happen to her, though. Naka smiled and looked up at him. "So, how's the arm so far?"

"Umm, it's a little painful, but feels ok." He walked with Naka towards the training fields. "Wanna be my opponent?" He asked Naka.
