The Last

Sora tried the ramen again. "It's pretty good. But i'll like all of them." Sora smiled. He couldn't imagine trying all of them. There was just too many. He wanted to just go, sit and look at the moon. It what he always did when there was a full moon.

"Aww, are you sure? Okay then....how about this, whenever I make ramen for you, I'll be sure to make something new every single time, okay?" She smiled and pat his head, she wouldn't force all this food onto a little boy like him. It would make him burst, but she hadn't taken in the laws of physics into the equation when she started cooking. "So what do you want to do now, Sora-kun?"

Sora smiled. "Thanks." He went upstairs, and climbed out the window onto the roof and looked at the moon smiling. It was the only thing, other than Naka, that made his mind be at rest. The moon reminded him of how peaceful the world and everything should be. He looked at the moon reflecting off the nearby water. It was so beautiful. He wished this moment could last forever.

Naka cleaned up and put away all the dishes, pots, pans and ramen. She would find a way to get rid of all of it before they rot. After all that and cleaning spilled soup, she went up to the roof, but only poking her head over so that Sora could see just her head. "Hey Sora-kun...do you want to be alone or do you want me to join you?" she asked, smiling to him. Being alone wasn't always the best choice when you're at night. She wasn't scared for him, she was scared for herself. Naka was scared of the scary ghosts...and Kagami and Goru were doing black magic downstairs...

Sora smiled and nodded. "You can join me. It's not good to be alone at night." Sora chuckled and patted next to him motioning for her to come and sit. He wanted to sit and enjoy the beautiful ang magical moon, with the beautiful, and pretty magical princess Naka.

"Oh thank you...I think they're trying to talk to a dead ninja downstairs or something." Naka scurried over to where he was and sat herself next to him, parking her rump where he had indicated. Naka looked up and gasped with awe. "It's a full moon! Wow...it's so big and shiny, like a white marble." She chuckled and smiled to Sora. "I understand why you like looking at it. Do you do this often when you were away?"

Sora nodded and smiled. "Yes I do. It reminds me of someone very important to me. That someone, is as beautiful as the moon. Actually they are even more beautiful." Sora looked at Naka then back at the moon. What did he just say? What if she asked who it was? Great what had he done this time.

"The moon princess," Naka guessed. She watched too much Sailor Moon and Avatar: The Last Airbender. "If you were to call someone more beautiful than the moon princess, you must really care for them a lot. That's..that's really sweet, Sora-kun." She smiled to him, then turned back to gaze at the bright moon. "Do you think people can change how they are, even if they don't notice it, for the people they love?"

Sora sighed and looked down. "Yea, I think they can."

He looked sad... Oh no, she made him sad, didn't she? When he was around her, he was sad. Naka bit her lip. She kissed his forehead and got up. "I'm sorry. You're sad when you're around me, Sora-kun... I just wished we could have been friends." She gave him a weak smile and went downstairs. Friends... Why can't people stay friends?

Sora sighed and looked at her. "We are friends and will always be friends Naka. Nothing will change that." before naka left sora asked a question. "please stay up here with me. It gets lonely by yourself..." Sora smiled and looked back at the moon.

Naka looked back when she heard his words and managed a smile. She went over and laid down as well, looking up at the moon and the stars. "You know, when you're in a desert at night, the stars really shine. Did you go to Suna when you were gone, Sora-kun?" Naka just wanted friends. She had been alone and looked down on, and still was right then. All she asked for were some genuine friends.

Sora shook his head and laid his head on his arms. "no I didn't, but I bet the stars do shine." Sora started pointing at the constilations and naming them off. He loved anything to do with the stars and when he pointed out the Hercules constilations started getting deep into topic about the Greek myths and gods. He loved myths. It kept him thinking. What if the gods were real? And the demigods? But he knew they weren't.

Naka grinned when he started on Hercules, Zeus, Hera, and so on. She loved myths too, which stemmed from her story-loving side. Also because of the dramatic twists. Naka listened to Sora go on and on, and not once did she get bored. "How long have you liked myths, Sora-kun?"

Sora smiled and looked at Naka. "Since I was about 6. It all seemed so fascinating." He smiled. He always wanted to meet someone who shared the same enthusiasm about greek mythology as he did. Now he had a friend who did. She has turned out to be his best and closest friend.

"Who's your favourite Greek God? Mine is definitely Artemis. I don't know why, she's just... The goddess of the moon..." Naka's eyes shone as she rambled, but then blushed. "Oops, sorry, I-I was ranting... Do go on."

Sora smiled and looked at her. "I dont like the gods...I like Saturn...name in Greek is Kronos, The Titan. I don't know he just appeals to me, he won't stop till he gets what he wants, and well i guess thats why." Sora looks down off the roof.

Naka giggled. Yeah, that sounded reasonable enough. To be ever persistent in what you do. It sounded just like him, which made her smile. "Reminds me of you, Sora-kun," she admitted. "You don't back down, you don't give up, even when people tell you you should."

Sora sighed and looked at her. "Thanks Naka." He looked back at the sky and lays back, his eyes closing. He was starting to get tired.

Naka watched him close his eyes and loosen up his body. Was he trying to take a nap up there, perhaps? If so, she'd do it with him. He was a good friend, after all. She smiled to him once more and closed her eyes. "Goodnight, Sora," she whispered, almost inaudible.

Sora fell into a deep sleep. He dreamt about his past. Never having friends, always being bullied. Atleast no one here did that. Probably since tey didn't know that much about him. He always kept who his family wad from everyone. He didn't want them to know. Once his parents died, everyone wasn't afraid to mess with him. They knew he wouldn't do anything about it.

Naka had gone down for a moment to fetch him a blanket. It was cold at night in Konoha, and she didn't want Sora to get a cold, so she draped a big, fluffy blanket over him. She herself curled into the remaining patches of the blanket and went to sleep. To have a close friend to trust and have fun with... Sora was that kind of friend, and she was happy to have him.

Sora sat up sweating in the middle of the night. He always had the dreams that worried him and scared him. It was never pleasent. "God...why?"

"Sora?" Naka pulled the blanket off him and put her hand on his forehead. He was sweating profusely, the poor guy. She grabbed his shoulders and started to shake him, trying to wake him up. "Sora, wake up! Wake up!"

Sora opened his eyes and looked at Naka shaking him. "whaaaat?" he didn't want to admit he was having a nightmare. He just wanted Naka to stop shaking him. "iiimm awaaake."
