The Last

"Oh wake up sis, that boy will do anything for you." Xeno smiled. "And if he won't eat...Well Fujie's pretty good with knots adn rope." Xeno laughed. He spotted someone in a clock standin on the opposite head of Naka. "There you are."

Naka squinted her eyes and stared at the figure for a full minute. She gasped and nodde eagerly. "It's Sora-kun! Xeno, drop me on him! The element of surprise and my shrimp ramen will make him talk to me again!" she ordered.

"Alright." Xeno flew towards Sora and landed behind him. He let Naka down, before taking back to the sky. "Thank you for you help Fujie, it means alot to Naka." He started to kiss her while flying.

Naka crept up behind Sora and put her hands over his eyes gently, blocking his view. "Guess who?" she whispered.
When he started kissing her, Fujie blushed. "Le... Let's go home and um...um... I... I ... I wanna test out the new couch, Xeno-kun..."

Sora was surprised he wasn't expecting anyone to find him. When he realized who it was he sighed. "The pretty Naka?" Sora smiled. Being around her made everything easier. He never really noticed it until now.

"Wrong! The correct answers were the awesome Naka or the magical princess Naka," she corrected. Naka took her hands off his eyes and smiled at him. "And Sora-kun, you still have to try my ramen. I made it just for you." She held out a bowl, 3/4 full, containing the shrimp ramen. "Eat some, will you Sora?"

Xeno smiled and kissed Fujie and looked down at the two of them. "HEY NAKA, WE'RE GOING BACK HOME. BEHAVE YOURSELF, TAKE GOES FOR YOU TOO SORA." Xeno yelled and laughed and flew back to his house.

Sora smiled. "I'll try some. Shut up Xeno you know i'll behave." Sora looked at Naka and smiled. "I think the awesome and pretty magical princess naka will work."

"XENO, I'M AWESOME, SO GO AWAY," Naka shouted at him and turned back to Sora. She handed him some chopsticks and uncovered the lid to the bowl. "It's shrimp ramen with some seafood and a bit of vinegar... I hope you like it," she offered. Naka really did hope he would like it. It looked like he needed some cheering up.

Sora looked at Naka. "Did you say...nvm not gonna do that one again." He chuckled and took the chopsticks. Sora ate some of the ramen and looked at Naka again. "It's good."

Naka shook her head. She pulled out a tissue and dabbed at his face. "It might be good, but is it good enough? Do you like it, Sora-kun?" she persisted. Naka really wanted to cheer him up, to make him the happy little boy he was supposed to be. Just because you're scarred, doesn't mean you won't find friends who can get you through. Naka wanted to be one of those friends.

Sora smiled and nodded. "It's good enough. I do like it. I like anything you make." He couldn't become anything different he really believed that. His whole life had changed him. He just wanted things to be different, but they never were. Sure there are friends that can help you but...You eventually remember the reason why you are the way you are. Sora sighed and looked at the village and all the happy people. There were couples, kids laughing, friends playing together. It made him even more upset.

Naka watched his expression turn... Turn sour. He was unhappy, she could see that. "Sora..." So no matter what she did, he would still be sad. He would never accept his past and move on. He would just keep on reminding himself of his bad past and block the image of his future and any prospect of happiness. "Um... Oh... Okay Sora-kun... I'll be at home if you need me. I'll check in on you later, ok?" Naka kissed his forehead and starte walking.

Sora looked at her walk off. He didn't mean to upset her. "Sorry...I don't mean anything by being upset. It's just no matter what I do...something I havent found or have done wrong, haunts me." Sora looked at the sky as it started to rain and smiled. He felt the way the rain felt on his skin. So soothing and refreshing. He hadn't felt that feeling in a long time, so it felt really good.

Naka came home to find Kagami making voodoo dolls with Goru in the kitchen. They were tying the straw together and chatting about black magic. "Hi you two..." "Hi Naka-chan! Back so soon? What about ramen man?" "Oh, he's...he's..." "Awwww Naka-chan, come here for a hug." Naka sniffled and hugged the two of them. "I'm a bad frieeeeeend...." she wailed.

Sora thought for a minute and got up. Even though he hadn't found what he was looking for, or is haunted be the past, he always had Naka. She has been there for him since he met her. He was glad to have her as a friend. He had to apologize and make things straight again. He didn't want to hurt or or make a feel bad.

There was a knock on Naka's door.

Naka blew her nose loudly into a napkin and dropped it into the dustbin. "We'll be here making more dolls. Do you want one, Naka-chan?" "Ahh some other time. I don't feel like cursing today." "Okay., oh, can you answer the door? Thanks Chibi." The two continued to debate over best methods ar they made the dolls.

Naka rubbed her nose once more before opening the door and looking at the guy standing in front of her. She smiled wide and hugged him. "Sora! Are you okay now? You looked sad back there, so I guessed boys need their space..."

Sora smiled when Naka hugged him. "Yea...had some thinking to do." He hugged her back. "Sorry for being like that, you should of stayed, i needed someone to talk to but its ok now."

"Awww, I'm sorry. But I was just taught that boys need their alone time when they're upset. That is, unless you're in a happy marriage like my papa."
"That's my girl." Naka and Aiden thumbs-upped each other as he passed them to get to the kitchen, wearing just pants and bedhead.
Naka turned back to Sora. "So... Are you okay? Do you still want to talk? I'll listen to whatever you want to stay, Sora." Naka smiled and squeezed his hand.

Sora smiled. "Not anymore. But when I'm upset, please don't leave. I need the company." Sora looked at Naka and tried his best to not sound sad or look sad. "Never really had anyone try and cheer me up, or stay with me through anything." He figured he was sounding sad but he tried his best to sound cheerful. "I was always hated, shoved aside. No one tried to befriend me, or stay in a relationship with me. Because sooner or later they started to hate me."

Naka huffed, her cheeks puffing up. Whenever she strongly disagreed with anything, she showed her frustration in this child-like manner, the crossing of the arms, the pouting, the puffy cheeks and the scrunched up brow. Naka shook her head and brought him in for a tight, warm hug. "Sora-kun, in this house, we're nice as long as deep down, you're nice too. And Sora, you are a sweet, nice, loyal boy. You will find happiness too, but you have to look out to find it and when you do, never let go. Life is too short to take mildly, you know. You have to have some good out of it." She smiled up into his face, trying to cheer him up somehow. He needed to know there was hope for him.

Sora listened and agreed. He hugged her when she hugged him. Now she was only a little dictance from his face and he blushed this was the closest he had ever been to naka. "Thanks...Naka..."

"Now come to the kitchen. I made a lot lot looooot of ramen for us to eat and I want you to taste every one of them!" Naka said chirpily. She pulled away from the hug, took his hand and brought him to the kitchen. The counter was lined with an assortment of ramen, some strange, some plain, all in white bowls with a pair of disposable wooden chopsticks next to each.

Sora headed to the kitchen with Naka. When he saw all the bowls of Ramen he couldnt believe she made all of the. And he had to taste all of them. It was going to be a looong night. He looked at Naka. "You made all of these!?"

"Yup! I wanted to test them all out and find which one you like the most, so next time I make ramen, I know what to cook for you." Naka pulled him over to the end of the line and made him sit down. She took off the lid to the bowl in front of him and revealed the steaming pile of noodles and chicken. "Simple chicken ramen."
