Sara was surprised that he didn’t have many friends. He was such a good guy to hang with. “I’ll be your friend and I still have to prefect my latest justu. I either use too much chakra or too little.” She said still leaning against him.

"thanks" he said sincerely, he'd like her to be a friend. " I've been workingon a few new ones too, I just can't get the concentration of chakra right or the control" he said,mshe was still leaning on him. He found it realy pleasant. In return he leant against her, lightly.

Sara reached out her hand to the outside getting rain on her palm. Using her chakra she froze a few rain drops making pretty ice crystals. She then brought them back into the tree to show Chiba and to also give them to him.

Chiba took the ice crystals happily "thank you" he said, they were bery nice and sparkled in the slight light.too had they would otherwise he would've kept them. "I have nothing to give you" he said slighly disappointed.

“That’s ok.” She said hugging him. Soon she shut her eyes and soon went to sleep. Her body temperature was colder than normal after using that justu so she was attracted to anything warm.

Sara felt quite cold as she fell asleep, he instinct hugged her closer. The cloak next to him had so he pulled it over the both of them. He did his best not to wake sara, as he moved for her to be more comfortable. He remaked awake however.

As Sara slept, men started looking for the two. They heard that they had stayed in the last town. What they were after was Sara and her mark. Soon they saw the hollow tree and they planned an ambush each of them hiding in a nearby bush or tree. There was four of them in total each about genin level.

Chiba was had fallen asleep, fornutatly he woke up. He didn't know why but there was somthing odd. The rain was still going out side and Sara still sleeping peacefully, there was still somthing wrong. He wanted to wake Sara but thought against it. He wouldn't do it just for a gut feeling, he still reached for his sword.

Smock bombs were set off to make the enemies movements. Two went in to kill Chiba while the other two stayed in the shadows. The two that went to fight didn’t use a justu just simply took out some knifes and reached out to stab him.

Chiba's sword flashed from its scabbard as soon as the smokes bombs went off he turned as best he could and carved throught the tree. Sara was already waking fast as he cut again and then a third time. It a matter of moments he had cut an exit out of the other side of the tree "come on" he said as he basically dragged Sara throught. One the hell was attacking then.

“Wha…What’s going on?” Sara said worried. She was being dragged by Chiba and could see the smock behind them. Kunai started flying toward Chiba’s direction but Sara quickly thinking activated her ice justu and froze the kunai while they were in the air causing them to fall on the ground before it hit Chiba.

"thanks" he said as the kunai hit the ground, he smiled as he got an idea. He turned forced chakra into his bald eto sheath it in its cutting edge then extended it. He jumped and slashed downward through the hollow tree. Then on the backswing he used a huge gust of air and went the tree falling forward. Turning to Sara he smiled "timber" he said as it crashed down with an almisty thump.

Sara was now standing up no longer being dragged by Chiba. The fallen trees slowed down the enemies movements. “Come on let’s get out of here.” She said taking his hand and hers as she started running. She didn’t care in which direction they were running she just wanted to get away from those men.

"but.."Chiba just managed to priest before she grabbed his hand and basically dragged him along, for the First few feet anyway. He felt the warmth from her hand in his his and wondered why. He cursed his guantlets were still in the tree. Sighing he ran hand in hand with her, trying to get away even though he wanted to fight. If she wanted to run,nhe would follow.

She kept running with him eventually getting to a fallen tree. She crouched down behind it and looked back. Her heart was pounding from all the running. “I can’t see anyone following” She whispered. Even though Sara couldn’t see them they were definitely following.

Chiba ducked down behind the fallen with sara, was other other people following he wondered. He kept his hand close to his sword none the less. He breathed heavily and stretched out his senses. He sighed as he heard nothing though he guessed they were still following.
"What now then?" he asked sara.

"I don't know" Sara said. Soon the men got close but passed the log not seeing the pair. For now they were safe as long as the men didn't go backwards. Of course their was always the possibility of attacking the men before they got the chance.

"if you wanted to fight you would have stayed there, so let's double back and try to escape that way" Chiba said, this time taking her hand softly and leading her. However this probably wasn't the best of ideas after all he might get lost. They moved quickly but stealthily. Even though evey fibre of his being wanted to fight those men.what were  after he wondered, Sara or something else entirely. 

She continued to more stealthily with Chiba. “I don’t remember which way to go anymore. Running away from those men lost my since of direction.” She admitted. With the rain clouds blocking the sun it was near impossible to tell which direction to go without a compass.

"I don't either, this was a bad plan" he said quietly as he picked a random direction that was not the direction the men went. He continued and then after an uncomfortable silence he had a question "how much is this frigin bounty on you anyway" he asked.

“I’ve lost track but I’m guessing still pretty high after the sound just gave up looking for me. When it comes to a slave that will do anything without question people will usually pay really high” She told him as they started walking in the random direction again.

"if there's one thing your not sara and its a slave. Remeber that" he said sternly, they needed to get away.they cotinued without insident and got to the due of the forest. There was a road going past. "ah!" Chiba exclaimed. "I know where we are, I can lead us back to the rain" he said smiling.

“Finally” She said. They were finally going to make it home. Kunai then flew into the air aiming for Chiba again. The men managed to follow them and catch up. This time the two would have to fight.

Chiba rolled ducking the kunai barely,the guys had caught up with them too fast. Did they have a sensory type he wondered, he ceased to care.they should've fought for the beginning. He launched himself forward with a battle cry taking a swing at one of the ninja.
