Meeting for Reason

Ryou nods at the justification. "That'll be good news..." He pauses, unsure what to say.

"Now can I have Yuudai, dammit?!" he growled.

He frowns, hiding his annoyance behind a blank face. "We're not 'finished' with him, yet."

"Ugh, fi-"

"Aiden-sama...?" Toshi came out from the trees, smiling and hugged Aiden. "I was trying to find you, but...um...Ryou-san?"

"Who's she?" Ryou asks, angry that Aiden seemed to have brought someone along. Although he already knew what it was. The legendary Toshi Kuroda.

"This is Toshi. You met before you became a missing nin," Aiden said. "Toshi, I told you I'd be busy..."

"I was bored..." Toshi let go of Aiden and ran to Ryou, glomping him. "Ryou-san, I haven't seen you in a long time!"

"Err...." Ryou's sighed, his eyes flickering to Toshi's face. If she sees Yuudai... "Could you..." He melted down, it was impossible to be angry with Toshi around.

((Glomping? Lol))

"Could I what, Ryou-san?" Toshi let go, though still holding onto a bit of his clothes. She smiled up to him as she waited for him to answer.

Aiden sighed, and smirked. Toshi was just so innocent.

Ryou smiled back. He couldn't frown, not with Toshi. "Oh, nothing..." Does she know I hold her friend, Yuudai, behind my back? He sighed, wishing he could help Yuudai more then he did.

Toshi smiled wider up to him. "I haven't seen you for a long time, Ryou-san! How've you been? What have you been doing lately?" She hadn't seen the scratch across the Konoha symbol on his headband.

Or listened to Aiden. Ryou sighed. "I-I'm fine, Toshi... and a little busy..." He avoided the urge to glance back at Yuudai.

((PB-chan, that was quick! :O ))

"I haven't seen many of my friends lately. Kaminari-san's busy with Nobu, Miru-san has ANBV business, the others aren't that close... Ohh, and Yuudai-san's missing. I haven't seen him at the Uchiha mansion lately..."

Ryou inconspicuously backed away, concentrating on the 'backpack' to form it into being more opaque. "Ahh... that's unfortunate."

Toshi walked forwards to follow Ryou. "Ryou-san, I don't know when you're going to go and come again! Will you promise to visit me when you're near the Uchiha mansion?" She smiled up to him happily.

Ryou smiles, keeping his chin up as best he can. "Eh... sure." He lies bluntly. He looks back at AIden.

Aiden shook his head with disapprovement. He mouthed, "Don't lie." Toshi smiled and glomped Ryou again. "Yay! Good!"

Ryou gives a heavy sigh, looking down. He couldn't help lying, and he did it with so much ease now...

"Ryou-san? Are you sad? Did I do something wrong?" Toshi asked, looking up with concern.

((It's like a jump-hug, then you hang on like a koala :3 ))

Ryou shakes his head, swallowing wrong. "No, you didn't do anything wrong..." He trails off, sighing.

((that, plus Toshi's small-ness, makes it look Chibi xD ))

Toshi smiled again. "Oh, good! Ryou-san, let's play together! Just put away your bag, and we can play!" She tugged on his hand hopefully.

Ryou pulls away from Toshi's hand with a sigh. "I'm sort of busy with Aiden... and I have to go soon..."

"Oh, okay! We'll play next time! Promise?" Toshi held out her pinky finger in the traditional way of making promises.

He pushes himself to grin, and locks his pinky finger to hers. "Promise."

"Good!" Toshi smiled and unlocked their fingers.

"Toshi-chan, you'd better go back before Miru gets worried," Aiden said.

"Oh, okay..." She briefly hugged Ryou, kissed him on the cheek and waved them goodbye as she ran to the mansion.
