Meeting for Reason

"Because I'm growing up. I,m not a little girl anymore. Aiden-sama taught me that," she said, sighing. "...AND SINCE WHEN DO YOU HUG ME?!"

Yuudai sighed, "When are you going to stop asking whats wrong with me when I hug or kiss you? And I understand, you are really growing."

"Well, it's because you never, ever do it. You are the hug-ee, not the hug-er!" Toshi said, amazed. "...you met a girl, didn't you?" she asked, smiling.

"What?" he hadn't payed attention, since he was staring into the clouds. He was lost in the puffy cloudyness.

"You met one!" Toshi said, grinning. Then a pang of sorrow. Somehow, she just knew she'd be replaced in his heart. "Yuudai, is it Ember?"

"yes I met her. That doesn't mean that I'll replace her with you. Trust me. I haven't and won't." ((Talk about a dissapointment for Toshi!))

"Aww, don't say that! I'm just me! I'm sure she's a better girl than I am," she said, giving him a Lee-style, shiny-teeth smile. She was being replaced... But she wasn't going to let him see how she felt. She didn't need to. She was going to Kusa that week to become a slave anyway.

(She's used to heartbreak, don't worry. She just loved Yuudai the most, that's all.)

"Don't worry. All this will be resolved soon. And everything will be back to normal." 'hopefully!' he thought.

Toshi shook her head. Might as well spill the truth. ".. I can't see you guys. Ever again."

"What? Who? Me? Why can't you? Don't leave." he didn't want and refused to go back into exile again. He just wasn't.

"Don't worry, you won't be lonely. You have Ember," she said, smiling weakly. "Everyone will forget me in due time. It's not as if I changed a part of your life."

"You are sooo wrong. I've told you how many times, how you've changed my life?" he was kinda getting tired of explaining.

"I didn't, you changed yourself," she said, sighing. "I'm just a kid, there's nothing special about me!"

"..." Yuudai was unamused. He had told her at least 10 or 12 times how she changed his life by being the foirst one in a long time to show him love and compassion.

"Gah, you won't get it...anyway, I'll be leaving soon. So, starting now, try and forget me, okay?"

Yuudai stared at her. It was what the angel had said what was going to happen. "Okay." and he walked away, carelessly.

Toshi sighed, watching him go. Then she got up and left as well.

Yuudai left the building and started walking to the hill where they hadalways watched the clouds. He layed down when he got there, in the same place he had always, and looked at the clouds.
