Meeting for Reason

"Eh? But I think you're nice, and you are handsome! Very beautiful, in fact," she said, grinning. "And you're gentle and kind. That's why Kikisu likes you!"

"What? Kikisu? No way she likes me. If she did, I'm sure she would've done something to make it very ovious. Most people do that. I think I do too."

"You do?" Toshi asked, skeptical. "And yes she does. She looks at you the way I do..."

"Well, i've never noticed it. You have? Are you sure she looks at me like you look at me?" Yuudai was doutfull that what Toshi was saying was true. He listened anyway.

Toshi nodded. "As if your eyes were gems, your voice was music, and being in your arms was like being in paradise," she said, smiling.

"Wow. Thats deep. So you look at me like that? If so, that kinda creeps me out. Same about Kikisu. Its scarry."

"No, that's not how I think of you! I just accidentally read Miru's diary..." she said nervously. "But don't tell her that...! And well, I have a feeling Kikisu loves you more than I do..."

"Hold on. Are you saying that Miru likes Itachi like that? phew! Thats a relief. And trust me, even if Kikisu likes me more than you, I'lll still love you more than Kikisu."

"No, it's not about him, it's about Samu, her husba- what did you say?"

"That I'll love you more than Kikisu, even if Kikisu loves me more than you. Anyway, who is Samu?"

Toshi blushed again. Why did he have to be so sweetly blunt? "He's Miru's husband, and father of Jashu, her first son. The Uchihas are re-building again."

"Then the clan will be restored again. Thats good. Isn't Jashu that god that Hidan of the akatuski praises? Or is it just name simmalarity?"

"That's Jashin, silly," she said, grinning. "She's got another kid, too. A girl, Nakashiro Uchiha. But she doesn't have the bloodline."

"Where does she live? And whats she like?" Yuudai wanted to meet her, another relitave, he coulden't wait.

"At the mansion, of course, but you rarely come to Miru's room anyway. She's sweet, and kind, and so darn cute!" Toshi said dreamily. "They say she's like a mini me."

I want to go meet her. Let's go!" Yuudai ran to the Uchiha mansion, eager to see his relitave. 'I can't wait to meet her!' he thought exidedly.

"Wait- WAIT! It's her naptime, don't wake her up!" Toshi squeaked.

Yuudai heard her and when he got to the mansion, waited for Toshi to come. When she got there Yuudai asked, "How old is she?"

"One year old, darn it!" she said, panting. "It's her naptime right now!"

"One? Well okay. I can respect that. I'll wait. What do you want to do in the meantime? Watch the clouds?"

"I- don't know..." Toshi took a few moments to catch up her breath. "Ugh, take a nap?"

"Yea, I'm kinda tired too. See ya in a few hours." and he went to his bed and fell asleep. He dreamed about what would happen to him in the future, and knew that he could change it.

Toshi waved him goodbye, and went outside, with a box of soap. She dumped it all in the fountain and grinned, then splashed in. She was thinking of ways of suicide.

Yuudai slept for about two hours then walked outside to see Toshi in the fountain. He didn't ask if she even went to sleep just, "Hey Toshi. What are you doing?"

"Um, playing!" she said, smiling. And on the inside, figuring out which poison was best for a quick, painless death.
