Meeting for Reason

Toshi nodded, and looked down. "But...he must have a reason, doesn't he?"

"He has no reason. He is a deamon. Like Aiden but Aiden is much nicer." Yuudai struggled to get up. He felt his side, he had one broken rib.

"Hey, don't move!" Toshi said shakily. She sat on him where he wasn't hurt, and put a hand on the left side of his chest. The hand turned mint green as she started healing him.

Yuudai sat back down, "Thank you Toshi." he smiled as he felt a little better.

"Good! Now stay still!" Toshi bit her lip, her little face contorted in concentration. "I can't work with your shirt on. Take it off!" She focused more chakra into her hands and got ready.

Yuudai took his shirt off, and his chest was really brused from all the attacks he had taken.

Toshi winced as she looked at the bruises. "Wow...you didn't need to take my share of the impact. I would've survived." She placed her hands on the wounds, healing them. But she couldn't stop the pain.

"Its fine. I'm used to taking pain." he slightly chuckled then winced as the broken rib expanded.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't have any painkillers with me," she apologized. Then she grinned as she got an idea. "Okay, then, after this, I'll give every booboo a kiss to make it better!"

"I'm good" said Yuudai pulling his shirt back on and standing up. Then started walking toward the mansion. He looked back at Toshi, "Are ya comming?"

"Um, you go on ahead and make some food for us. I have to heal my own wounds." She grinned, and turned away from him. She bent down so that he couldn't see. The mark on her wrist felt like...burning.

Yuudai walked into the mansion. He went to his room and didn't mean to but fell asleep.

As Yuudai slept on for hours, Toshi stayed outside, even until late night. She was trying to remove the mark, but it was useless. "Ugh....!"

Yuudai didn't get up untill morning. As he walked outside he saw Yoahi. He ran over and asked seeing the mark, "What is that? and how long havr you been out here?"

"Hm? I don't know what it is. I stayed up all night trying to get it off." She sighed and rubbed her eyes, then grinned. "Heheh, at least you didn't have to wake me up today!"

"Yea but you better get some rest. A person needs their sleep." Yuudai helped her up to her room then went back to sleep.

"Okay..." Toshi slept, but her dreams became nightmares.

~ Later ~

Toshi had woken up before afternoon. She just couldn't sleep. She donned her bunny slippers, buttoned up her shirt and knocked on Yuudai's door.

Yuudai was still sleeping surprisingly. He wasn't have deams or nightmares. Just nothing.

"Yuu-chan...?" Toshi was afraid, though it was daytime. Everything seemed so loud in the silence. She whimpered and went back to her room. There, she covered herself in sheets, and hid under the table, shaking hard.

Yuudai was sleeping lightly then so he heard her leave. He woke up a few minutes later then walked into Toshi's room. Knocking first then he walked in slowly and saw a lump on the bed. He walked over to it tiredly and pulled it back saying, "I heard you come into my room a few minutes ago, why did you leave?"

"I felt watched..." she muttered. "And I was scared." She whimpered and pulled the sheets over her head again. It looked like a bundle of sheets trembling violently.

"Ok, well I'm gonna go get breakfast. Come down when ya want!" then Yuudai left.

"Eee, don't leave...!" she whimpered. As she heard Yuudai's footsteps fade away, Toshi gulped. She hopped off the bed, with the sheets still around her, and crawled down to the kitchen.

Yuudai was getting some scrambled eggs ready to eat. As he heard Toshi come down he said, "I know I'm not much of a cook, but I'm gonna try eggs today, see if I don't burn them."

Toshi sat down at the counter and poked her head out of the sheets. "Can you make toast too? And bacon and pancakes...?"
