Meeting for Reason

Toshi tucked the ducky into her pocket, smiling. Then she glanced at the water. "If I have more soa- huh?" She narrowed her eyes as she saw a flicker of color that definitely wasn't hers.

Yuudai was hoping that what she saw hasn't him. He held his breath.

A bird by the fountain chirped, and pecked at its reflection in the water. Toshi sighed and was going to search the outside grounds when she slipped and was going to fall into the fountain.

Yuudai quickly jumped to lift her up. She didn't touch the water. "What was that?" Yuudai asked because she didn't slip, it was spring ((I think)), and there was nothing for her to trip over.

"I tripped over my feet agai- Yuu-chan!" Toshi practically jumped out of his arms. But she stayed. "Ah, didn't Aiden-sama tell you? I have two left feet. Metaphorically, that is." She smiled up to him and blushed. "Oh, and thank you for catching me!"

"Your're welcome!" and before she could say anything else he remembered to get into a new hiding place before she said 'You're it!' so he sprang off.

Toshi grinned, covered her eyes with her hands and began counting. "Thirty, twenty nine, twenty eight..." and later after that, "...two, one!"

Yuudai had hid in his closet this time. Knowing that it was way past an hour. He like plying hide and seek with Toshi.

"Hm...where would he hide...?" Toshi started searching outside, losing track of time. After two more fruitless rounds around the area, she sneaked past Aiden in the kitchen and searched the rooms. Once again, hers, Aiden's and Miru's were empty. Then she went to Yuudai's room. "Hel-lo~ Anybody here?"

Yuudai again stayed silent, not moving. He dug deeper into the clothes. Holding his breath.

Again, she checked under the bed. Nothing. She checked every place imaginable, except for the closet. Toshi sighed, and went out. Just as she turned the corner, she remembered the closet, and went back.

Yuudai took a quick, quiet breath in and held it. Hewas hoping to get away before she found him.

Toshi entered the closet, and blocked the exit with strings of chakra. She stuck her hands in the clothes, and began feeling around for anything. Then she came to something soft, but warm. Unknowingly, she had cupped Yuudai's face. "??? What's this?"

Yuudai said muffled, "That is my face Toshi. Please let go of it."

Toshi let go, and pushed away the clothes to find Yuudai. "Found ya! Hahah! Hey, how long have we been playing? Isn't it time for us to go?" She was unsure, but she had a feeling it was way past time.

"Yea it is. Let's go! Race ya to the hokage's office!" He dissapeared and started running toward the hokage office.

"Hey, you had a headstart!" Toshi smiled, jumped out the window of Yuudai's room and ran to the Hokage's office as well. She laced chakra to the bottom of her sandals as she ran, similar to a raging bull.

Yuudai was almost to the hokage office when he saw that Toshi was comming up to him. He sped up and was really close to the building. 'I'm gonna beat her!' he though happily and smiled.

Toshi pulled out a pouch, and stuck two springs to her sandals. Then, she leaped, covering twice as much distance as before. "Yuu-chan, I'm coming~"

"Aw crap!"Yuudai kept sprinting, he was almost there. Just a few more meters. He eventually decided to leap from buildings that were close. He went a little faster than before.

Toshi blasted off the ground, fueled by chakra. Thankfully, she didn't do much damage. She added more chakra to increase her speed, and saw Yuudai's blur in front of her.

Yuudai was very close and he saw Toshi above him. He kept sprinting a little faster every meter. He could clearly see the office.

Toshi striked a match, and heated up her springs to make them stronger. She was increasing her pace, but so was Yuudai, and he began to win. "Go, Toshi, go!" She grinned and aimed herself 45 degrees forward, and jumped.

Yuudai kept sprinting faster. He knew he was probably gonna win.

Toshi saw Yuudai almost reaching the Hokage's office, and started sprinting and jumping at the same time. So close...
