The Sand Rose. (Open)

"Can you smell any blood from the plants?" she asked, sniffing. "That rose blooms and feeds on the dead bodies of humans. It's a parasite."

Akihiko was shocked but smelled the air again. "Not sure....."

"It's gotta be here somewhere," Toshi said, pouting faintly. "D'you have shovels?"

Akihiko whiped out a scroll and unrolling it a little bit he threw it down. Putting his hands on it two small hand shovels pop out of the text whith a small puff of smoke. "Here." He said as he threw one to Toshi.

"Ok! Tell me if you find a skeleton with fungus on it." She grinned, and started to dig with the energy of a puppy on high.

Akihiko was concerned of why there would be one.....but dug anyway. "Ok...also don't forget I will need that back. I use it for finding metals."

"Okay!" Toshi smiled, and continued digging. She was already dirty with earth and twigs sticking to her.

Akihiko started digging faster and started using chakra to make his blade sharper. He kept digging hoping to find something.

Toshi's shovel hit something. She over turned a rock, and the smell of rotting flesh and blood filled her nostrils. "Ew!"

Akihiko dropped his shovel and ran over. "Hmm?....oh...what the he........ew....."

"Ech, that reeks!" It was a skeleton, all right, covered in bluish green moss. "Aha!" Toshi put on gloves and pushed in aside, revealing a big, brown and red rose.

Akihiko looked at her....waiting.

Toshi ripped off its stem, waited for a moment and grinned. "Yes! We found it!"

"You've got your flower.....now what?" He just waited.

"We go back to Suna and extract the poison of the flower from my hands before something bad happens," she said cheerfully.

Akihiko just shook his head. "How fast?"

"Right now." She smiled, tucked the flower into a plastic bag and packed her belongings. Toshi covered the hand she touched the rose with in a glove, and smiled to Akihiko. "Come on, now!"

Akihiko really wished she had said they would need a doctor afterwards. He tunred and said "Well we better start running then."

"I'll race ya!" she said, giggling, and started to leap away with her springs on.

Akihiko ran as fast as he could after giving her a head start. Soon after he caught up with her and continued to run.

In the end, Akihiko won. "Ah, that was a great warm-up!" Toshi smiled happily. "D'you know any good medic nins?"

"I only know you medical wise.....maybe we should just go to the hospital?"

"Aw, great!" Toshi laughed out. Maybe the poison was hallucinatin her? "Come on, then!" She smiled to him, and dragged him to the hospital.

At the hospital the doctors were confused and started asking questions on why they were looking for poisons....

...and Toshi easily avoided the questions, by merely saying, "Please don't let me die" and using her teary-eyed Chibi expression.
