The Lazarus Ninja

Keiji was already up he had used a shadow clone with the replacement jutsu to leave without ushio noticing.
He had just finished morning exercises when ushio entered the living room. " morning sweetheart " he said

'How the hell?!' "Hi honey," she said, smiling. She had brought Isamu down, who was happily inspecting the monkeys on her diaper. She handed the baby to Keiji and headed to the kitchen.

'Why mama so happy?' Izzy asked.

"I'll tell you when your fifty" he said quickly. He looked at isamu " say mama out loud, that will make her really really happy " Keiji said as he sat down on the couch with her

"A...a....ma....a...mama..." she said, struggling a bit, she wasn't used to her tongue yet. "Mama papa...mama papa...mama papa!" She giggled and kept repeating.

Ushio hummed merrily as she cooked her chicken pie.

Keiji grinned and brought isamu into the kitchen so ushio could hear. She was good at following orders, a trait he must have passed on to her. " ushio chan , izzy is speaking " he announced merrily

"MAMA PAPA!" Isamu grunted, then pulled her father forward. She pulled strong enough so that the two of her parents were together with her in the middle. "Mama papa," she said happily.

"Awww..." Ushio's eyes lit up. She smiled and hugged the two of them. Ushio kissed Keiji lovingly on the cheek. "We made a great kid, don't you think?"

Isamu confirmed her heritage as Keiji's daughter by giving her parents a (one-)toothy grin.

Keiji nodded, he was surprised that isamu was so strong. " we sure did " he said softly before turning his attention to said child. "izzy we don't pull people around okay, ill let it slid cause it was your mother and me but next time just say 'hug already ' am I clear "

She looked up at him with big, sad blue eyes but Ushio just laughed and pat her head. "Don't be such a drama queen, sweetie."

The baby smiled innocently and snuggled into her parents. 'Papa kiss mama?' she asked hopefully.

Keiji chuckled ``alright Izzy `` he muttered pressing his lips against Ushios. ``Now that Ive pleased both my girls, I should go get ready to meet my team`` Keiji handed Isamu off to Ushio ``I`ll be back before you know it ``. With that said he kissed them both and headed off to training ground eleven.

Ushio smiled and took the pie out of the oven with one hand, the other carrying Isamu. "Wanna visit Papa at work again?" she asked, and the toddler nodded, beaming. They had their breakfast and then packed up lunch bento.

Later on, they tracked down Keiji. 'Wonder what the students look like.'

Keiji had just finished testing his students when ushio and isamu showed up. He looked at the genin " you all pass " he said fixing his headband. The two male genin smiled " are we dismissed sensei " one asked, Keiji nodded " you three meet me here tomorrow at dawn " the female genin groaned " why so early Keiji sensei". He chuckled " look at it this way the sooner you start the sooner it will be over, we all have families we want to spend time with" he grinned and point over to the girls " mine is standing right over there . The kids nodded and left, Keiji waved ushio over " hey what's for lunch I'm starved"

"Homemade chicken ramen. Ice tea for the man of the house and chocolate milk for the ladies." Ushio smiled and brushed her lips against his. Isamu goo-ed and pointed to the foil-wrapped package. "Oh, and some chocolate fudge cake too," Ushio added.

She led them to a wooden table-bench nearby and set down the food. Isamu played with a noodle and licked her hands. "So, how did it go?" the Kuroda asked.

Keiji took the drink " they recognized needing to work as a team so they passed "he upcapped the thermos and had a swig. " they each have the same weakness but different strengths." he had another drink " luckily one of my strengths is what they lack, so training will be focused on that"
He looked at isamu " dont play with your food Izzy " he groaned she was covered in noodles

Ushio giggled. "Don't be such a hypocrite, honey. Isamu-chan, when Papa was a baby, he got himself covered in chocolate pudding." She licked her lips. 'Naked Keiji in chocolate pudding - '

'Mama smell weird.'

"Oh! Er...let's get you cleaned up." Flustered, Ushio started picking off noodles from the baby. Isamu, however, was trying to balance one on her nose. "Ah? What strength was that?" Though she had both hands full, she could still talk with him. She was a natural multi-tasking mommy.

``physical, though their ninjutsu is lacking`` keiji said shrugging. ``look at you multi-tasking like a pro `` he said to her, he helped her clean up Isamu`s mess.

"Well...someone once told me I was just a little brat," she said quietly. "People say I'm stupid and dense. Well... I guess you're the only one I want to show that, no, I'm not as immature as I act." She smiled and cleaned up Isamu.

The baby however, pouted. 'I wanna eat!'

Keiji tutted at his daughter ``maybe if you didnt use your noodles as sunscreen ```he looked at Ushio `` Lets go home ill make some Dango, how does that sound``

Isamu yawned and clung to her mother's forearm. The sun made her sleepy. So now she snoozed on, a furless koala on the Kuroda's limb.

Ushio smiled, nodded and packed up with her free arm.

"Go tuck her in, sweetie." She kissed Keiji on the lips and headed for the kitchen to get the ingredients ready. Isamu now clung to Keiji's arm.

Keiji nodded, he took her up to her room and laid the Nara down. He tucked her in and went down stairs to the kitchen. " got everything ready for me Ushio- chan" the akimichi asked as he entered the kitchen

"Yup." Ushio smiled at him, then continued to read her journal. After a few pages, she closed it and went up to Keiji. Ushio wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his neck. "You don't mind me being so clingy, right?" she asked.

Keiji was in the middle of rolling the dango when she wrapped her arms around him. Her question was tricky to answer " Right now yes because I'm trying tomake food, in the relationship aspect no I don't mind. " he wondered why she had asked in the first place

"Oh..." She let go, looking sheepish. "Sorry." Ushio dusted off some flour and started rolling the dango with him. "So, how was your day? We don't get to...talk, much."

" you already asked me that question earlier " he said rolling more dango. " as for talking well I guess with Isamu we have lost talk time with each other " Keiji collected the rolled dango and started to cook them. " anything you wanted to talk about in particular" he asked her

"Just you. I don't know you very well, so, um..." She racked her brains for a decent question to ask. "What do you want to do for a career?" she blurted. Ushio sat down and watched him cook.

Keiji raised an eyebrow and pointed to his head band " I'm a ninja, I'm always going to be a ninja " he said simply
