The Lazarus Ninja

"Goooo!" Isamu zoomed through the air and collided with Keiji's head.

Ushio smiled and walked leisurely over to them, holding a big bento picnic-sized box. She put it down and nestled herself on his lap, arms around his torso. "How is my big sexy wolf today?" she asked, kissing his cheek. "Keiji? You okay?"

" sensei " he said again before passing out. It was a good thing he was sitting down and ushio was keeping him level.

Ushio blinked, what had caused him to pass out? Isamu gently pat his cheek with her fist.

"Oh...time to go home, sweetie."

"Goo?"

Ushio picked Keiji up.

She had stripped him down and tucked him into bed. She was there beside him, reading, and Isamu was taking a nap.

Keiji woke up not long after ushio tucked him into bed " tell me it's all just a dream " he groaned sitting up. First mission train a genin cell, he didn't need this right now but he could not refuse Onoki.

"What happened, dear?" She put the book away and laid his head on her lap. She started playing with his soft hair.

Keiji looked up at her `` Oh Onoki-sama has thrust a great responsiblity on me `` he said. He didnt know if he could do this, Teaching was one thing but as a jonin sensei he had to look after three other ninja. it was alot to take on and the Akimichi felt the weight of it, ``Jonin Sensei `` he sighed.

She was happy with the news if he was. Ushio grinned and kissed him hard. "You'll do fine, honey, don't worry. You're you, the great and handsome Keiji Akimichi, also a very great Papa." She kissed him again. "Oh, and great kisser and lover in bed..."

He shook his head ``Your bias`` he said with a half grin.

"You are great the way you are, and you might not see it but I do," she said firmly. Ushio kissed him softly. "Keiji-kun, you'll be a great sensei, don't worry. You're already a great Papa. So...please get your confidence back up."

`` Thanks Ushio but I dont need to hear you say it everyday`` he said sitting up in bed.
He grabbed some paper and started writing out some sort of training for his team. `` I jujst worry that I wont be able to teach them correctly `` he muttered whilst still writing. He cast a glace at Ushio `` Wheres Izzy last time I saw her she collided with my head, Is she okay. did I hurt her ``

She smiled weakly to him. "Do... Don't worry, she's fine. She's a Kuroda after all." Ushio got out of bed and went to the nursery. She picked up the sleeping baby and brought her downstairs so that the two could nap on the couch by the TV. 'Huh, so it is true... Keiji doesn't love me.'

"Mama..." Isamu snored lightly.

'...and he wouldn't care if I died or left.'

"Hnnn..."

Keiji watched her leave 'damn that woman reads so much into everything' he thought, slowly setting down the paper. He got to his feet and headed to the couch it was the place she always retreated when they fought. He had managed to sneak up on her smiling as isamu said her first word aloud. " come back to bed honey " be said smiling

She sniffed, she was reading the dream journal she kept. The non-XXX one of course, that one was under the bed. Ushio rubbed her eyes and looked up at him. "Why...it's hard...it's hard for me to see if you truly want me to be with you forever or...or if I'm just a toy or I'm just here because of Isamu-chan." She sniffled again.

He sighed 'why are women so hard to deal with' he thought. Keiji looked at her seriously " you can believe whatever you want but when I wake up in the morning I want you beside me sweetheart ". His words were soft and hopefully she got the whole I want to be with you vibe, he had spent a life saying it. Now it felt old and cumbersome. This time around he would be vague and let her figure things out.

She stayed silent for a moment, then nodded. "...okay. I guess it is my turn to woo you. I've already used up all of your mercy." She got up and handed the baby to Keiji. "However, I do want you to know... Not a day goes by without regretting wasting my time turning a blind eye to your love just because I was stupid." She smiled sadly and kissed his cheek. "Because I really do love you."

Keiji looked at her " Ushio if you mean that you'll stop wasting your breath telling me what I know already." Keiji kissed her softly " now let's go to bed while this one is asleep " he sad

She nodded and went upstairs and started reading.

Isamu snored loudly. 'Pancakes..'

Keiji looked down at his daughter " you are your mothers child that's for sure " he said quietly. He went and put isamu in her crib before entering the master bedroom. He got into bed beside ushio

Isamu rolled around a little but then found a comfortable position and slept on.

Ushio watched him silently. Then she turned her attention to the journal and continued to read, almost crying.

Keiji raised an eyebrow at her " why are you so blue Ushio-chan?" he asked. What was eating her, hormones perhaps.

She looked at him, pouting. "We never make love anymore, and..and..last night I had a dream..." Her cheeks flushed.

Keiji blinked " oh " he put his arm around her " all you had to do was say something ". Keiji smiled as he spoke " you know Im no good at reading these things "

She snuggled into him and pulled his shirt up so she could feel his skin. "I kinda thought I lost my succubus touch." She kissed his neck.

Keiji chuckled before he turned out the lights and made sweet love to ushio.

Ushio woke up that morning sore. "Hnnnh..." She sat up and tiptoed out the room from her one-night stand.
