The Lazarus Ninja

Isamu snored loudly. She was already tired from kicking up such a fuss. She just didn't want to go to sleep without seeing her parents.

"Aww, I didn't get to tell the story." She kissed Isamu's head and stood by Keiji.

Keiji took her hand " come on let's go to bed " he said leading her out of the bedroom

"Okay." Ushio smiled and followed. Inside, her inner Fangirl was going 'KYAAAAH he's holding my hand!' In the room, Ushio crawled in under the sheets and kissed Keiji's nose. "I love you."

he nodded `` I know " he replied snuggling into her. Today had been long and tiring for many different reasons, all of them good. " I love y- " he started to snore lightly

She grinned when he snuggled into her. Ushio stroked his cheek gently. There was no longer a scar marring his handsome face. "Good night, sweetheart." She wrapped herself in his arms and fell asleep. '..he still looks sooooo cute asleep...'

Keiji woke up and went through his regular morning routine. He left a not for Ushio and went off to train with his genin

Nami had been aging fairly rapidly due to her demons influance. she now was around fifteen and her skills had grown just as rapidly. Thanks to the recent Akatsuki problem the ninja world had united and Nami had been absorbing every bit of knowledge she could. Her Fathers Swords were inside storage scrolls, she was realativily good with them however her skill with ninjutsu was far superior. Nami had recently left Suna and decided since it was safe to travel through Iwa she would check it out.

" So this is what Iwa looks like " she said looking around at rocky village

"Goo..." Ushio picked up her daughter and started changing her. 'The stealthy, high-paid hitman Fai is now confined to a home, is a housewife, and has to change diapers,' she thought.

The two girls went downstairs, got the lunch bento ready, and then went to visit Keiji.

Keiji had his genin running laps, they really needed a good work out. He smiled as he saw Ushio approaching with their daughter. " you two sure love to visit me on the job " he said from his throne made of stone.

"That's because Isamu wanted to see her Papa," Ushio teased.

'Mama dragged me here. I just came for the food.' Isamu yawned and rubbed her eyes. The Kuroda sat herself on Keiji's lap, holding the baby. "Today I made taiyaki and dango. We eat the heavy stuff later." She smiled and held a dango to his lips.

Keiji ate it eagerly, he had received word from anbu kiri ninja were going to be staying in the village even in these circumstances ninja had to be trained to deal with anything, and training required energy. He wondered just how strong these 'allies' were.

Nami and her team were escorted to the iwa training grounds
"minato must you always stare at my breasts, it's rude " The blond said whacking her 'younger' teamate upside the head

"I can't help it, Nami-chan, it's just... Nami-chan is just so sexy." Minato grinned, even after she smacked him. It was kinda weird, but he enjoyed any physical contact with her, even the hitting. "I wish you would let me see them..."

Ushio snuggled into him, feeding him a taiyaki half. She had learned how to cook since, well, apparently, Isamu made her crave what Kaji ate, during her pregnancy. Said baby played with her papa's shirt, drooling on him.

When your old enough to control yourself I'll let you see them " nami said shaking her head knowing that day would never come.

Keiji ate the food ignoring the fact isamu had soaked the front in drool. The life of a father was odd, however he had made the conversion with ease.

Minato cheered with joy, holding onto that shred of hope she gave him. "I'm so happy I have Nami-chan," he purred, and Minato gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey... Keiji-kun...how did you react when you first found out I had your child? Do you hate me for it?" Ushio asked. She hugged the child to her, looking away. "D... Did it make you think I was stupid?"

Keiji sighed " I was upset you never told me sooner but besides that I was thrilled " he said pecking her on the cheek " what do I say when I see you both " he said putting his arms around them.

Isamu giggled when they had a group hug. She took a fistful of Keiji's shirt and one of Ushio's shirt and just cuddled into the two of them. Ushio shrugged, Keiji/Kaji was never the sentimental type. "Say aaaaah." She held up a dango bit to his lips.

He ate it quickly, with her shrugging he sighed again he thought she would know. " I say and I quote 'well if it isn't my two favorite girls ' remember " he said offering her a dango

"Awwwwe... Look Isamu-chan, Papa says he loves us...well...kinda... Papa shows his love his own way." Ushio smiled and kissed Keiji softly. "Izzy kiss Papa tuu!" the baby exclaimed and gave Keiji's cheek a drool-packed kiss.

He groaned as a chorus of 'gross' came from behind them, his genin had returned from their run. Keiji looked at ushio before turning to face his students " you'll understand one day " he told them before kissing Ushio on the lips and isamu on the forehead. " students this is my family, family these are my troublesome genin " Keiji said simply. The genin quirked their eyebrows " sensei has a kid with an older woman " they muttered.

Ushio beamed, waving at them. They thought she was an older woman. This would usually be insulting to a person, but after years and years of being called a kid, Ushio considered this a compliment. She kissed Keiji again, earning another cute gasp from their baby daughter. "Keiji-kun will probably seem harsh and cold, but he's only trying to be a good sensei," she said to his team. "He is one of the most stubborn, strong, and strategic man I know. He won't let any of you get hurt." To end her little speech, Ushio snuggled into the man she was crazy in love with.

The genin all rolled their eyes, they believed she was a sandwich short of a picnick. Keiji on the other hand smiled and patted Ushio on the head " awe thank Ushio chan " he said happily " You guys are dismissed till tomorrow ". The genin nodded and left , Keiji adjusted isamu and proceeded to hug ushio back. "time to head home" he said "unless you two wanted to go somewhere ?"

She wasn't mentally retarded, just a bit silly at times. Ushio smiled and got off his lap, handling their baby girl. She looked much different from the hitman-loner Ushio she was once when Virgil found her. "Yeah...let's go home." She timidly held on to a few fingers and walked with him, Isamu staring at a butterfly a few steps ahead. "Hey hunny...do you think I'm crazy too?" Ushio asked quietly. "Or just stupid?"

"I think we all are alittle crazy Ushio-hime" he said taking full hold of her hand. "as for if i think your stupid, well you must be to fall for somone like me " He said chuckling, he looked at her "But then you'd probably say the same about me, lowself esteem seems to be something we have in common". Keiji smiled brightly " Lets just hope this little one has more than the both of us eh?"

Ushio smiled and brushed her lips against his. Many do not see beyond Keiji's gruffness, but she didn't mind. The less girls who fell in love, the less butts she had to whoop. When he held her hand, she squeezed his affectionately. "Thank you, honey. Look, Isamu-chan is all teary." True, the baby was looking up at her father with big, watery eyes, moved by the lovey-doveyness he showed for her mama. "Papa," she cried. "Make mama sho happy." She sniffed and hugged him tight, like a little koala, just as her mother used to do. "Izzy sho proud..."

Keiji chuckled " your so much like your mother izzy ". Keiji looked at ushio, there was a huge grin on his face "I love you Ushio-hime" he said giving her a kiss shortly after the words left his lips

Isamu giggled and started sucking on her thumb. "And I love you, Danna," she replied. Ushio smiled, her heart beat getting harder when he smiled at her. "So much... Now let's go home. I'll make dinner. Any requests?" She held onto his hand and walked by him. 'I'm the luckiest girl in the world,' she thought happily.
