He smiled and pated her head " thats nice sweetie" . Keiji started eating more dango just as he had before. He stopped and looked at Ushio " I wonder what happened to my Vigil " he mused

Isamu started drooling, so Ushio picked her up and wiped her mouth. "Did he die? I mean...he said Kaji Nara was no more, he said he had taken over...how are you still here?" she asked. She was happy Kaji- err, Keiji was there, but she wanted to know if there were any strings attached to his rebirth.

"Im not sure, techniqually he was right I am not Kaji Nara nor will I be ever again " Keiji said finishing off his dango. " But I really dont know what happened to him, I do not hold any of his memories so I know he is not apart of me " he mused

"There's always gonna be Kaji in there. You act how you used to before you fell for me," she said, chuckling. Isamu yawned and laid down on the table, rolling around.

"Mmm..."

"I think the baby needs sleep. Go tuck her in."

He didnt like being told what to do but since Isamu was indeed tired keiji let it slide. the Akimichi collected her in his arms and walked her up stairs to her nursery. Keiji put her into the cot tucking her in. He smiled down at her and kissed her softly " Sweet dreams Izzy-Chan". Keiji turned on a night light and walked back down to the kitchen.

"Mmm..." Isamu smiled at her father sleepily. "Papa..." She rolled over onto her side and started snoring lightly.

Ushio whistled softly as she cooked up a full meal. Taiyaki, steak, ganmo, miso soup, roast and chicken wings. Thank Kami the Akimichi clan ate a lot. She served the food and tossed Keiji a pair of chopsticks. "Anything you wanna know about Isamu-chan?"

Keiji caught the sticks and set them down "No what would I need to know?" he said.

"...you know she has at least four bloodlines...right?" she asked. "Siddown, siddown. Eat. You're lacking meat on your bones."

Keiji blinked he knew she would have his Byakugan but what were the other three. Was Ushio confusing the Nara families kage Jutsu for an actual bloodline. " I think I have enough meat on my bones" he said sitting down, he pointed out his large hulking muscles.

"....hey Keiji, you do know I am a mutt, right?" she said timidly. "I am not a full Kuroda, though I am not directly descendant. And um, Isamu-chan kinda inherited one of my abilities." She pushed a big, juicy steak to him. "Eat, superman. You have a nice body and a great tush, but you nedd food to maintain it."

He rolled his eyes and started eating. "Well what are these bloodlines " hes asked looking at her

"Byakugan. Akuma. Kuroda. Mine," she listed out. "She'll probaby beg you to teach Shadow manipulation. I think she might have gotten some Inu in her, but that's not a bloodline. Hopefully she won't inherit your manners."

He set down his utensils " I can teach her more than that" he said ignoring her jab at him. "I dont believe I know what yoour bloodlines entail " he said sipping on some water

"It's not important. Just keep her from touching people with bloodlines too much. It's dangerous." She finished off the remaining steak, and now the taiyaki and tofu were left. 'I bet he still hates tofu,' she thought, smirking, when she passed him the ganmo.

He pushed it away " no explain " he said somewhat sternly

Now she timidly pushed the taiyaki to him. "Why do you care? She hasn't had it mature yet, so it's deactivated for now."

Keiji took one of the taiyaki and split it open. Upon seeing the red bean paste he started to eat it. He looked at ushio " that doesn't matter I would like to know "

"Nghhh... I am sworn to keep it a family secret, so I can't tell you, you're not part..." She shrugged. "Even if you're Isamu's daddy. Daddy and mama do not consider you family." She popped a whole half of ganmo into her mouth.

He rolled his eyes he never liked aiden. Keiji looked at her " so what are these ground rules "

"Ah...right." She looked away as she ate. "You might not love me, but you are the father of my child. When we are alone, you can treat me as you wish. But when we are around Isamu, we have to be er...kind of lovey-dovey, parental-like."

Keiji sighed " I will not treat you any different ". The Akimichi rubbed at his temples " Ushio I love you, I died, I was reborn that doesnt change anything except my name and village". He leaned back and rested his pupil less eyes on her " anything else ?"

"...no." She sighed, and then there was a cry from upstairs. "Oh, Isamu-chan's upset. Go tuck her in, and go to bed. I'll come up when I'm done with the dishes." She smiled and kissed his forehead before going about with the cleaning

he created a Shadow clone to stay with Ushio. He got up and went upstairs. Keiji pushed open the door and walked inside. "shh Izzy-chan whats the matter " he said picking her up out of the cot.

Her diaper stank. Really stank. Like it came from Satan's uncleaned toilet. Isamu screamed her lungs out, tears staining her chubby, pink cheeks.

"So, are ya excited to be spending more time with our baby, sweeth- err, sorry, Keiji-kun?" Ushio said happily. She hummed as she started washing.

Keiji groaned and plug his nose holding Isamu at arms length " its like Ushio's milk sours inside of you " he said to the baby as his nose started to adjust to the pungent smell. He brought her over to a changing table and started to change her.

The Clone grabbed a cup towel and began drying. " sweat heart is fine " it said giving her a little swat on her bottom before getting back to work. " Im sure I will enjoy it " the clone said after a little while.
