Hmm what did he have planned "nice try boy but they knew what they were getting themselves into" yukikos captor grinned and held the kunai tighter to her throat until a small trickle of blood could be seen "now give us the weapons and our team mate if you want to see the girl alive" Yukiko mentally groaned, just release me already, she was sick of being a hostage so she turned slowly "I don't like being a hostage" she said as sweetly as she could as she tightly gripped the mans crotch, the ninja screamed and dropped to his knees and she took that advantage to grab his kunai and stab it into his leg "I dont like being a hostage" she repeated more menacingly then the last time.

Yes, the tide as finally turned. He took away the kunai from the guys neck, fused it with lightning, and stabbed it into his back stunning him. It wasn’t a lethal hit but at least they wouldn’t have to worry about him. He then took out the two swords that he had stabbed in the ground. “So Yukiko, what’s the plan?”

"don't get captured and protect the bounty" she laughed, it was good to be free, she hesitated before picking up her Katana, it disnt stick and came easily out of the mans body, Yukiko jumped back next to Tsukiakara, she wasnt going to be foolish enough to be captured a second time.

“Sounds like a plan” He then moved into a defensive stance. “It’s your move” he said to the remaining enemy.

The ninja growled and looked uncertanly between Yukiko and Tsukiakara then took a step back "I'll be back for you brats and your cargo" and with that comment he dissapered in to nothing. Yukiko glanced at her team mate and grinned "well that went well" she muttered and burst out laughing.

Tsukiakara smiled and then let out a sigh of relief. It was over, for now. But by the sound of it they would be back. Tsukiakara then went back to the cart. “The best thing to do now is to keep moving before they can set another trap.” he said.

"don't worry Tsukiakara I won't let them capture me next time" and she meant it, Mabey he couldnhelp her more then she thought. Yukiko grabbed the cart once again then looked at her team mate "I would like to hear anY opinions you have tonhelpnthis mission" she suggested and lifted an eyebrow at him, Mabey he had some ideas he could pitch in.

“Well… There is …the Fork just up a head.” He said in almost fearing the word.

"stay here" she instructed and teleported to the fork but keeping her guard up, ah teleporting, she was glad she had mastered it... Almost, she still felt a little dizzy after she used it but she hid it well.

He ignored the order and eventually got up to the Fork. “Believe it or not but we are not the first people being chased by exile ninja for a cart full of goods. Merchants build a system of pathways designed to confuse pursuers and avoid traps. This fork is one of the many entrances to said pathway.”

"oh" she didn't know that, this kid could be helpful and he was kinda cute how he obeyed most of her commands. "so what now?" she offered and waited.

“We make a choice. We can take the obvious route where another trap is sure to be set or…” He paused as if he to scared to say their other option.

She disnt know what he was about to say but it had to be better then there first option "and?" she encouraged waiting for the other option.

“ We take the other path and go through the network of pathways. But I must tell you. There’s a reason why no pursuers follow. The pathways are very dangerous. You often times go in circles and get way off course from your destination. People have been trapped there for days even months at a time. And if that wasn’t enough, the merchants who built them also built hidden traps to ensure they were the only one who could get out. But if you really think that it’s worth the risk I’ll follow you in there.”

This was a tough one what should she do "I don't want to meet those ninja again, well take the hidden pathway" she affirmed and helped him move the cart as she started walking, if they got lost she could survive, she had to once before and managed it, but she wasn't sure about the boy, she didn't say anything but she was worried for him.

With the first few steps into the path they were led into a thick forest, thicker then any in the Land of Rivers. “Ok across that mountain we should see the Land of Wind.” he said pointing at a mountain in the distance. A couple of minutes had passed and they had already reached there first challenge. There were 6 paths different paths ahead each seaming to lead in a different direction. One or possibly even two could lead them to where they were going. The others were either going to be traps of wrong ways. “So what do we do now” Tsukiakara asked.

She nodded and spanned out her chakara, sensing for any enemies, and soon she could sense something hiding in wait on the first two paths "the first two are traps" she muttered and kept searching, on pathetic three there was nothing and on four was teaming with wolves and dogs, even if they were trained to kill she could communicate with them and coax them to her side "path three is empty and path four has wild wolves and dogs, they won't be a threat though, pick a path" she muttered and waited pationantly.

Wolves and dogs. Seems like something the merchants would do. Train dogs to attack anyone that wasn’t them thus ensuring only they can go on the correct path. “Logically the dog path would be right choice but how will we get past them?” he asked.

Yukiko smirked "leave them to me, my kekki genkai allows me to use telepathy to wolves and the mutts And they seem to like me anyway" she picked up the cart and walked towards path four "just stay close to me and be on guard" she muttered.

This time he did what he was ordered and stayed very close behind. The forest they were in gave him the creeps and the last thing he wanted to do was to get separated and lost.

Soon enough the wolves appeared and surrounded Yukiko and tsukiakaru in a tight circle. Yukiko smiled and opened her mind to them "we are friends not foes" she spoke to the big brown wolf that was the leader. He cocked his head confused that he had understood Yukiko and whined "we are friends" she repeated and walked over to the wolf holding out a hand.

He stayed close not daring not make any sudden moves. He just hoped that this girl knew what she was doing.

The wolf sniffed her hand and barked once before licking her hand, she sighed and knelt down so her head was lower then the brown wolves. The wolf looked at Tsukiakara and growled "do what I do Tsukiakara" she said softly. "The wolf wants to assert his dominance and as long as we respect his wishes his pack will aid us" she muttered and kept her head low.

Tsukiakara did what he was told though everyone could plainly see he was nervous.

Yukiko smiled at Tsukiakara as the wolf clasped his jaws around yukiko's neck and bit down softly, Yukiko closed her eyes and after a little while he let go and did the same to Tsukiakara. Don't move, don't move she begged in her mind.
