Sand (connie and Nbird)

When the wolf bit his neck, Tsukiakara’s body gave a small jolt. He had been interrogated before but this had to top the list when it came to most scariest things that happened in his life.

The wolf sensed his fear and bit a little harder drawing blood "calm down or he'll snap your neck" Yukiko warned, he had to be calm or he would die by the wolf crushing his neck.

Her words reminded Tsukiakara of something his sensei taught him about remaining calm. He closed his eyes and then began to take deep calm breathes.

Yukiko smiled as the wolf let go and barked at him. Yukiko rose and grinned at Tsukiakara "pretty cool ay?" she winked at him as one of the wolf cubs bounded up to Tsukiakara and barked happily.

He opened his eyes. “Cool must mean deferent things where you come from.” he siad relieved that that was over.

She bent down and pet the pup "I guess we have different views on cool, now come on let's get going" she grabbed the cart and started walking again with the wolf pack next to her, the pup stayed by Tsukiakara side the entire time.

While they were walking Tsukiakara stared back at the little pup as if they were in a staring contest. They got deeper and deeper into the forest. Soon Tsukiakara could here the sounds of rushing water. There must be a river near by.

Yukiko heard the river and grinned, the perfect place to relax before they continued. She made her way to the river and placed the cart down placing hidden traps around it "there, now if anyone tries to steal it they can't" she laughed and made her way towards the river and stopped to her underwear before diving in, her mother hadn't taught her about nudity or public shame "come on in Tsukiakara, the waters fine" she swam to the surface and layed back, floating in the water. The wolves didn't like the water and the leader whined at Yukiko "go" she said and the wolves scattered.

“I think I’ll just sit here. Someone has to keep watch.” he said as he sat on a rock. She was kind of making him feel awkward but he didn’t have the gut to say that out load.

Yukiko saw his odd expression and frowned "what's wrong tskiakara?" she asked and looked at him while treading water.

“I just don’t want to get wet. After all we still are on a mission” Tsukaikara said trying to think of some other reason not to go in the water.

Yukiko smirked, she knew he was lying "just spill it, theres no use hiding it I will find out eventually" she started doing backstroke, gracefully gliding through the water

“It’s just that I don’t think my parents would appreciate it if I swam with… when I’m on a mission.” He paused there as he didn’t wanted to say the words and had to think up of something fast.

She looked at Tsukikara and waited for him to finish "is that the only reason?" she laughed and splashed him with some water.

Oh what the hey? He couldn’t just sit there while she splashed and teased him. He took of his shirt and jumped in the water causing a huge splash.

She laughed and puts her ands in front of he face to protect from the splash "nice one Tsukiakara" she grinned and swam over tagging him on the shoulder "your it" she quickly swam away, lets see how his swimming abilities were.

“Never challenge a Valley ninja in the water. We were practically raise on a river.” He swam very fast and used the water current to his advantage. When he got close enough he tried to reach for Yukiko to tag her.

She giggled and dived under the water and tried to hide under there, lucky for her she could hold her breath for a long time.

Underwater eh. Well he to could last long underwater too. He dived under and gave a little wave before once again lunging to tag Yukikio.

Damn, he was fast and tagged her arm as she tried to swim away, she surfaced and took in a breath "your fast kid" she laughed.

Tsukiakara smiled too. “Well, don’t you think we should be heading out now?”

She nodded in agreement and swam to the edge and jumped out, a little air jutsu and she was soon dry again, she looked over at the cart "you coming kid?" she enquired

Tsukiakara got out of the water. He didn’t have any wind style jutsus to dry him off so he just put his shirt back on. “Ready when you are.”

She laughed and used a massive wind blast to dry Tsukiakara off. Then grabbed the cart "I havent been here before so lead the way comrade" she grinned but in her mind was doubt, she didn't like new places and she hoped this kid knew the way.

Tsukiakara had been in several locations in the Land of Rivers. He even explored the network a bit. But the path they were on was completely new to him. “Ok let’s go. This path still leads a way.” He looked up into the sky. There were rain clouds in the distance and will be upon them by nightfall.
