Joint cooperation (Gor & Bird possibly Mature XD)

Chiba waited with another rain ninja, not talking to one another. Not that he hated him just that they were both new as partners and their hadn't been a spark. So they just sat in their water proof cloaks in the pouring rain. They were waiting just outside the rain for a Another ninja team from the hidden valley. They would be on a joint mission, from the rain to the valley. Delivering some previous cargo. Or something.

Muki was in her rain suit skipping down the road splashing into varous puddles as she made her way to the checkpoint at gate. Being a genin in the valley was hard and usually involved solo missions that she would ultimately end up failing. But this time was hopefully be different. She was assured that the rain was sending their best (genin) to assist her. They were mainly there for the guarding of the cargo while she was more of the guide into the valley (since very few people can actually remember where it is located). She stopped once she was in front of the two rain ninja. “How do you do? I’m Muki” She said reaching a hand out to shake.

(i get the star trek referencd XD yeah might as we'll be I couldnt think up a name) Chiba watched as the bubbly, high spirited girl Skipped down the road towards, them. Stopping infront of the duo. Chiba went out to shake the brown haired girls hand instinctively "Chiba" he said plainly before the other guy Introduced himself. "well that's that now lets go get the cargo and get this done" Chiba said glumly, their was unlikely to be anything on th ecourse of the mission. So he was grumpy.

She was kind of disappointed that both her partners were grumpy but it was better than being alone. “Okay lead the way” She said still being bubbly. “So does it always rain this much around here?” She asked noting the heavy rain in the area.

"I'll let him lead the way, I suck at directions" chiba said, as the guy got up and walked in what was a random direction to chiba. He followed walking next to muki, he didn't lie the awkaward silence. "so your from the valley then? Never been their and I've been to most villages" Chiba said trying to start up a conversation.

“It’s a pretty nice place. It’s by far one of the most beautiful villages I ever visited despite its small size. Of course that’s just my opinion; you’ll see it for yourself soon.” She said as she hopped from puddle from puddle till they finally got to the cargo. Most of it was decoys but in one of the several boxes was a chest filled with Ryo. “So this is what we got to bring back?” Muki asked looking at the size or the cart they had to bring.

"yeah, he'll be driving. I'm running point with you, so that you can guide us to the village" he said simply as the guy clamoured onto the seat and got the horse moving. He walked besides muki again. " I don't know why but I like the view over the industrial district in the rain. To me it's calming .I'll see if your villages is beautiful, no village is without its perks" he said with a smile.

“Well that’s true” She said give a giggle. And with that they were off walking with the horses into the raining streets of the Hidden Rain. Of course, Muki splashed in the puddles since she didn’t see how anyone in the rain would try to attack fellow rain members. “So what do you like to do for fun? You know when your not on missions and stuff?” She asked continuing the conversation.

"me? Not....not much..I.. I get switched round alot due to the way I tackle missions" he said looking down at his armour that marked his more a samurai than ninja. " I get lots of free time usurly I do mail runs, so I read" he said looking around at the rain as they left.

They were finally out of the Hidden rain. This was where things would get tricky from here on out but Muki still kept her cheery side to her. “Oh I like to read too, what do you like to read?” She asked. Most of her friends were often too busy doing other this to read so she didn’t get time to talk to someone who also read frequently.

"military history mostly and fiction writings, tho i don't mind the odd book about psychology" he said looking around, they were just outside the rain but he was on guard. His one arm held over his katana like somthing was gonna happen immediately. His lost arm reminded him of his move to suna. He couldn't wait to finaly get away from the fucking rain.

They had to get out of the Rain’s territory before that happened which made it convenient to know when they were in the Land of Rivers. “Oh that’s nice, I usually like to look at history once in a while. My favorites are the ones that teach justu.” She said. Muki was mostly a self-taught ninja which mostly explains her failings at missions. “That sword looks pretty nice. Did you make it?” She asked.

"well I can't learn many jutsu as you can see" he said indication to his missing arm, gone from the shoulder. He then unhooked his sword from his belt and handed it to muki. "no it's a family airloom handed Down the family ever since we left the country of iron. Many years ago" he said, his hand went down to his Kunai pouch just incase. Now that she was looking at his sword.

“I’m so sorry” She said just noticing the missing arm. She looked down at the sword. It was defiantly well crafted. She handed the katana back to its owner. “So how did it happen, if you don’t mind me asking?” Muki said wondering how he lost his arm.

"in a battle against an opposing ninja. Jace it was the second battle I had with him,heis an honourable opponent and a nice person" Chiba said as he reached over to hook his katana bak at the belt, the waterproof cloak covering up his missing arm. "I hope to have a third battle against him so we can decide." he finished with a smile.

“Well I hope you don’t lose you’re other arm” She said playfully. This mission was going pretty smoothly so far not even a signal indication that they were getting followed. Little did Muki know that was exactly what was happening. A band of 5 missing ninja were following waiting for a better opening to strike.

"I would have to quite if that happened, I couldn't wield my sword then" he chuckled! He didn't have any clue they were being followed either. But a fight was what he relished in, surprisingly he found it quite easy and pleasant to talk to muki. For some reason it just came natural. "so you like learning jutsu? What's your chakra nature? I have two, wind and lightning. " he continued talkin to her.

“I’m fire but I haven’t been able to control it enough to make it a jutsu” She answered to his question. She also had a deep fear of fire which also hindered her learning any fire styles. As for the chat they were having she too was enjoying it. “My favorites are genjustu so I usually try and specialize in those”

"I am talented in genjutsu however I have never used it in battle" he said looking around before stretching. He noticed muki's look. He decided he better explain " using genjutsu is fooling the enermy that is right Infornt of you, like that to be it is better and more honourable to engage face to face" he said "my code of fighting is nt. ninja like and has got me in trouble many times. Like leaving enermies alive. Jace is an example of this" he finished.

“I respect that. Everyone has their own code they follow.” She said continuing to walk. “By the way who is Jace?” She asked. She heard him mention Jace but she didn’t know who it was exactly. She felt like she had heard the name before from somewhere. Muki waited for an answer while she walked with him.

"jace was the enermy ninja that I met and battled with on two occasions, the first ended in a and so did the second. He is also the ninja I lost my arm to" Chiba said this with no resentment, noe regret. Infact it was quit a happy tone and the smile didn't leave his face " now that was a good fight" He paused, feeling smthing was wrong. But contiued however his guard was up, he was on edge. "can't remeber his family name or the village he came from" he said looking around.

The ninja’s could see Chiba tense up so they backed off trying to give him some slack. Muki also caught on to his looking around. “What wrong?” She asked. She also looked around but due to her poor training she could see any threats.

"nothing just somthing wrong in the air" he said as he relaxed, though his hand was still over his sword as they contiued to walked and he scanned the area ahead incase of any traps. "but yeah that's jace,he's a good person to bad we meet on the wrong sides." he looked back. The cart seemed fine enough and his team member on it.

The sun started to set in the distance but at least the rain finally stopped. “Do you think we should make camp for the night?” She said. Attackers actually liked to attack wagons moving through the night rather than attacking a camp with a watcher. The men in the back were an exemption for that case. They were really hoping that they would stop for the night so they could plan and look for hole in which to strike from.

"stop for the night, that way we can set up a perimeter and traps. Each of us can take turns on watch but we need to Find a high place. That way we have the advantage" he said looking around. He shrugged "well that is if heir is" he finished wondering if they ready would be attacked. He thought it was unlikely but it was best that the be prepared
