Sara didn’t like this idea but she took the kunai anyways and slashed the mark on her headband. She then put it back on to cover her curse mark. “Okay. I’m ready” She said trying not to show any fear for his sake.

"Then off to the village we go." Nagiko said and headed in the direction.

She walked with him always staying at his side never once running away from him. By the time they got to the village gate the moon had already raised into the sky. No ninja had come to attack them yet which probably meant they were safe to enter.

Nagiko walked into the village and began looking around for any Anbu blackops.

There wasn’t any yet but there were plenty of them about in town watching for anything out of the ordinary.

Nagiko sensed there was trouble as in anbu up ahead but he didn't say anything he didn't want Sara freaking out.

"So which way is the hotel?" Sara asked as they kept walking.

Nagiko then saw a kunia flying towards Sara he ran and pushed her out of the way but the kunia hit him in the lung.

She fell flat to the ground as she saw Nagiko get hit with the kunai in a very fatal spot. She knew this was a bad idea. The Anbu immediately rushed in to grab her but she quickly froze them in their traces (quite literally since it was her ice justu that she used.) She then ran over to Nagiko. “Are you alright?” Sara asking. It was a very stupid question of course but she asked it none the less.

"I'm alright it will take more than that to hurt me." Nagiko said but he was breathing hard as if the kunia hurt his lung Nagiko pulled the kunia out of his lung and set it down.

He sounded like the kunai hit his lung and if that was the case he was in serious danger. She started to curse at herself in her head wishing she knew medical ninjustu. "Here we got to get you out of here." She said putting a arm around his back to help him walk.

"okay I guess we are sleeping somewhere in the dessert." Nagiko said as he continued to breath hard he was getting short of breath now.

"Here just concentrate on breathing and I'll get us to somewhere safe." She said started to walk him over back out to the dessert.

The anbu secretly followed them.

"Right Sara." Nagiko said and he began concentrating on nothing but breathing so he could stay alive.

She kept walking him all the way to the middle of the desert. There was no cave or shelter in site except for the village in the distance. Sara had no idea that they were still being followed but she had no time for that. If only she had some water she could use her ice justu to create a temporary house for them but they were in the middle of the desert so water wasn’t going to come that easy. The night chilled her bones as she just sat there unable to carry on further without some sort of break.

Nagiko's condition had gotten worse and he was not only getting worse in breathing but was also bleeding heavily on where his lung is where the kunia hit him.

She looked down. He was fading fast. She quickly got to work trying to bandage him the best she could but without medical experience it was a pretty poor job. “Come on Nagiko stay with me” She said as she did all she could to keep him alive.

Nagiko stayed weak and passed out. He was now vulnurable for attack.

The Anbu saw what had just happened and steped out throwing a kunia knife aiming to stab it into Sara's shoulder.

She heard the kunai quickly tried to move out of the way but she wasn’t fast enough. The ninja knife hit her in her chest and she fell back down lying next to Nagiko. The kunai was tipped with some sort of poison and Sara could feel it pulsing through her body. Was this the end of them?

Nagiko lightly woke up enough to hear her drop at that instant he got up weakly and said "Nobody and I mean nobody hurts Sara i'll kill you for that." Nagiko said.

The Anbu chuckled and said "You can barely stand what makes you think you have the strength to stop me now." The Anbu said and took out another kunia.

(Will you control the Anbu and I control Nagiko.)

Without hesitation the Anbu threw another kunai into Nagiko’s direction. He then drew another one and aimed to towards Sara while he was at it. She was defenseless so unless Nagiko deflected hers, she was going to get hit yet again with another patch of poison.

Nagiko quickly pulled out his yellow ore sword and blocked both attacks he then weakly but as fast as he could go ran towards the Anbu and aimed a series of slices and slashes.

The Anbu was fast as well dodging every slice and slash. “Is that the best you can do?” He asked taughtingly. He then skillfully brought in his own slashes with another knife trying to take Nagiko down.

Nagiko dodged but he was too weak to dodge most of the slashes and was hit with most of them but he continued to fight this was for Sara nomatter what he would win.

The Anbu smiled under his mask. He clearly had the upper hand and he kept it up. He was going to make sure Nagiko would never recover ever again.
