Meeting for Reason

"Oh... Okay." Toshi smiled weakly to him, then skipped the whole way to the top of the Hokage's office.

"Whoa..." Toshi tilted her head and looked at the faces. The sunset was giving them an orange glow, and casted shadows. "Hm."

"Hey Toshi. Do you love-love me? Just curious." he looked at Toshi. Then back at the faces.

Toshi looked away, and kept a poker face on. "Maybe." She looked up to him and innocently smiled.

"Heeyyy! That's my answer!" Yuudai took a fist and lightly pushed her a little.

Toshi grinned and laughed. "Duh! If you don't tell, neither will I." She sighed, leaned on the railing and watched the light reflect off the faces. She seemed to be concentrating a lot on them.

"I might tell ya later, if or if not." Yuudai then stared at the fourth hokage face, he really foucesed on it. Like that was the only thing he could see.

"If, just if...." Toshi smiled and looked back out. She was staring at the unused area, the one meant for the next Hokage. "...."

"If what?" Yuudai looked at Toshi as if she just said something in a different language.

"Oh, nothing." Toshi grinned at him and reminisced as she looked at the faces. "I hope you become the next Hokage, Yuu-chan."

"I hope too." Yuudai looked at Toshi then went back to gazing at the faces. " You'd make a good one too"

"I'm from Kusa, silly. Besides, I would never leave my family there. Without them, I wouldn't be here right now...and I'm not a very strong ninja, as you can see." She smiled, and punched Yuudai lightly. "But thanks anyway."

"What I mwnt to say was: You would make a good leader. Trust me, with the propar training you would be a great leader."

"If I ever get strong enough," Toshi said. "I will! But...I'm not good with responsibilities...I had a cat and it almost died..."

"Well you just gotta pay attantion. You'll get better as you grow old. Then you can become a great leader!"

Toshi grinned and nodded. "And you'll be there, right by my side, won't you, Yuu-chan?"

"Depends on if I'm the hokage or not. If I am: maybe, If I 'm not than: defenantly!"

"If you do become Hokage, will you forget me....?" Toshi asked, frowning.

"No I won't. In fact:whenever you need help. Just come tell me or send me a massage from your village. And tell me when you do come to visit."

Toshi nodded again, smiling widely. "Okay! That's a promise." By then, the sun had already set, and the streets were lit by the moonlight. Toshi was shivering slightly under the cold. "We should get back..."

"Ok." Yuudai walked beside her the whole way. And when he got to his room he said, "See ya tomorrow Toshi!" and then went to bed.i

"Goodbye, Yuu-chan." Toshi had hugged and kissed him goodbye, then went to her own room and collapsed onto the bed.

Toshi had had a dreamless sleep, going through her normal schedule of pee and snack breaks. Aiden knocked on Yuudai's door and stuck a note on it. It said, "Gone hunting. Take care of Naka for me. -Aiden."

When Yuudai got up, he picked up the note, read it and said to himself, "Ok" Yuudai got dressed and went downstairs. While he was eating a bowl of homemade raman, he relised something: The note said Naka not Toshi, "Hmmm weird for Aiden to do that."

Toshi had always slept in late. Someone had to wake her up, or she'd sleep forty-eight hours straight. And she was a deep, deep sleeper.
