Meeting for Reason

"I was thinking about duckies," she admitted. "But other than that, I was thinking about that time at the cave." She smiled happily and lightly kissed his pink cheek.

"I won't forget that." Yuudai admitted. Blushing a little harder thinking about the cave.

"Oh, and at the K.I.A monument where you asked the question," she chirped. "It was fun, albeit a bit awkward." She smiled as he blushed. "Ah, and the first time I saw you blush!"

"Really? I thought the first time you saw me bkush was yesterday?"

"Yeah...That was a big shock!" she said playfully. "I always thought you were the cool, mature type." She grinned up at him happily.

"What makes you think I'm not? Almost everyone blushes. For many different reasons, mine is embarassment. I think yours is mabey love, but I don't know."

"Ah, I'm just happy... But you're embarrassed?" she asked worriedly. Toshi led go of his hand,and looked away.

"Not because you were holding my hand Toshi. I don't know. It usually doesn't happen much."

"Oh, okay then." She sat closer to him, but not touching. "I wonder how the others will react if they knew about us...?"

"Well I don't really want to find out. And Miru would probably be really mad is she knew."

"Yeah... And Aiden might try to kill you. So we'll have to keep this secret, huh?" She sighed, and bent her head down. "What are we going to do when Kikisu confesses her love to You?"

"Let's hope she won't. I know that sounds mean, but if she does I'll end up me making a hard decision between the two of you and then leading to one of you getting hurt. And I don't want that to happen."

Toshi shrugged. "Well...we're all just young people in love, huh...? Anything can happen. And if she does confess, then I'll have a hard decision, too..."

"Why will you have a hard decision? What do you have to choose that is so hard?"

"I don't want to break her heart and crush her hopes when she's been hurt so recently," she whispered. "But I don't want to leaver you or hurt you, either..."

"right that is hard. Well all we can do is hope she doesn't! If she does then we'll figure out what to do in that situation when is comes."

Toshi smiled, and nodded. "Okay..." She put a hand over his head and ruffled his hair. "Heh...I didn't expect a simple friendship would turn out like this."

"Me neither. But it did! Ya wanna go train?" Yuudai looked back at the clouds, and started day-dreaming.

"Hm, let's rest a bit first. When the baby dragon and its mommy pass again, we'll go." She yawned, and stretched her arms. "What're you dreaming of, Yuu-chan?"

"I don't know. I'm trying to see what's gonna happen to me in the future. See either if I'm K.I.A. or the hokage, and then trying to picture the world if one happened to me."

"Hm...I wanna try to see myself as a mother, but I just can't she," said, sighing. "If I couldn't have parents, I don't want my kids to be like that too..."

"You won't. I woulden't let that happen. Even if by then me and you are only friends. or even if I'm K.I.A."

"Well, Aiden's pretty serious about it," Toshi said, furrowing her brow. "He really is trying to knock me up."

"What is Aiden trying to do?" Yuudai coulden't see the dragons yet so he didn't move. He put his hands behind his head as he lie down.

"*Bleep*. And get me to have his kids," she muttered. And she was afraid. Really afraid. "But... his carrot is way too big..."
