Meeting for Reason

Toshi sighed and smiled. "Thank you, Yuu-chan! It's not that I don't like you, I really do, but if you turn out to like Kikisu-chan more, you'll stay with her, okay?"

"Promise. But we do still have to be friends. Is that okay if I do turn out to like Kikisu."

"Of course!" Toshi grinned and hugged him tightly. But her heart was beating hard, and somewhat painfully. She hoped he didn't feel it, though. "That's for sure."

"When should I meet her again? The sooner I know the answer the better.!" smiles like n_n.

"I... I don't know. The plan wasn't thought through much! Ahahaha." She laughed nervously and scratched the back of her head. "Well, we'll have to do it some other time. Right now, we play!" Toshi grinned and took a hold of his hand.

Yuudai shot some sugestions, "We could play: Tag, Hide and Seek, Race, or we could watch the clouds."

"Let's do it all, starting with Tag! Not it!" Toshi giggled and hopped away in the direction of the Ramen bar, then changed course to the village gates.

Yuudai wasn't ready for that. But when he saw her run away, he fell closely behind. Making sure not to be seen. When they got to the gates, he knew Toshi had no clue he was anywhere neer her. As she stood in the middle of the gates, he was sitting in some bushes, motionless.

Toshi was about to accidentally slam into the gates when she saw a cat. "Kitty! Kitty kitty kitty..." She grinned, picked it up and walked back to the gate, to the spot where Yuudai was.

Yuudai quickly reached out. Tapping Toshi in the shoulder saying, "You're it!" then jumped away.

"Whoa!" Toshi almost dropped the cat when he did that. Then she saw him, and pointed at the nin with a superhero pose. "Kitty, GO!"

"Meow!" The kitty too pointed in a superhero pose, and the two chased Yuudai.

Yuudai was making all kinds of twists and turns. Hoping that Toshi wasn't following him. All his running eventually led him to the pond in the village. He was standing on the dock. He looked in a hurry and heard Toshi comming. He then quickly jumped into the water and swam accross the water, trying not to make any waves, he went pretty deep.

"Okay, kitty, where did he go?" Toshi was holding the cat forward as a tracking device.

"Piku!" The cat's eyes gleamed, and it pointed to the water, where there were ripples and bubbles of water.

Toshi grinned, put it down and took a few steps back. "CANNONBALL!"

As she came in, Yuudai was almost to the other side. He saw the splash, so he swam faster. He decided to get on the small island in the middle of the pond. He made sure he wasn't seen before getting on it.

Toshi resurfaced, coughing. Then she followed the waves to the tiny island. "Oh, Yuu-chan~"

He heard Toshi and quickly got off the island, and sprinted to the top of the hokage building.

Toshi searched the island, but no one was there. "Darn!" She swam back and picked up the kitty. "Where to, Nekotama?" "Meow!" Toshi grinned and followed its directions up Hokage street.

Yuudai was laying down on the top of the hokage building. He looked up breifly and saw Toshi comming. 'How is she traking me down so fast? It must be the cat!' Yuudai charged out and ran streight toward Toshi. Just as he passed her, he made sure she didn't tag him while he took the cat and ran away again. He then sat the cat in the Uchiha mansion, and ran off somewhere.

"Meow!" the cat mewled sadly.

"Nuu, kitty!" Toshi said, depressed. "Oh, well. I guess I have to use a jutsu." She took out a summoning scroll and unrolled it.

By this time Yuudai was in the acadamy. He didn't run into the building, but was in the outside courtyard, hiding in bushes.

"Summoning jutsu!" There was a big poof of smoke. Then in her hand revealed a small, green demon holding a spoon of fire. "That a way!" It pointed the directions and Toshi followed.

Yuudai was still catching his breath when he heard Toshi come into the courtyard. He swiftly and quietly dissapeared, without making a sound, and so she coulden't see him, When he landed, he was at the east gates, and then started running into the forest.

"Nuu, nuu, backtrack!" the demon squeaked.

"Huh?" Toshi spinned around, dizzy. "Where...? Oof!" She tripped over her pants and landed on her butt.

Yuudai wasn't too far in the forest and decided to turn back. When he got back to the village, he hid behind the raman shop.

"There! Wait, no, there! Left! Your other left! NO, THAT WAY!" "Ugh, what the heck." The demon disappeared in a small puff of smoke. Toshi sighed, and grinned. She had locked onto his chakra signature.
