The Quest For Power

Yuudai walked past Toshi, mumbling to himself. "The little son of a, hes gonna pay, just wait till I have his head, then he'll be sorry."

"Yuu-chan, what's wrong?" Toshi sighed. A year later, and he still has anger issues.

"Asmo. Asmo is the problem. Earlyer I had killed him. I saw his head seperate rlfrom his body, and now he's back somehow."

"Did you make sure it was really him and not a shadow clone or another demon?"

"I heard the squish, and saw the blood. It was Asmo, I know it was. I'm sure of it. And if I have to kill him again then I will."

Toshi sighed. "Well, this is a good impression. First time I met you in a YEAR, and you tell me your goal is to kill." She crossed her arms sadly. "As if it doesn't affect my soul that you kill people for my sake."

"Now its not for your sake, Toshi. He derserves to die. He says that he is the only one that deserves you. If you had heard all that happened after Asmo took over your body then would be very surprised."m

"Yeah? Then tell me."

"Don't say anything loud in response to the first one. One thing was Aiden was ticked off about me likeing you. He went on about how I'll eventually die and how you will still live. I told him that I don't care. Then I went on about the reason Aiden never lets you go. Then I talked about the condition I yelld that you and I did kiss. He then almost exploded and asked who did it and how many times. Of course I lied and said it was me, and I wasn't keeping count so I said around three or four. Thats one of the things."

"Why was he mad?" Toshi asked, confused. "He doesn't really care about me liking you...right?"

Yuudai glared at her like she had just pointed out that he had a face. "Yes aparently he does. He won't let you go until the condition is met. And even then I don't think he'll keep trying to get you back."

Toshi drooped her head in sadness. "Great... I'm torn between you two." She sighed, and scratched her neck. Now that her cloak was loosened, it showed many bandages across her body.

"Toshi! What happened to you? Asmo's deamons? Bear? Asmo? Aiden? What happened?"

"... I have no idea. Does it matter?" she asked, sighing. Her mood was ruined by the thought of Yuudai killing.

Yuudai didn't want to upset Toshi, but Asmo had done too many bad things to him and Toshi, "Listen Toshi, I have a hard decision to make: Either, make you happy and not kill Asmo, or Kill Asmo and not make you happy. And its actually harder to make that choice when you're me."

Toshi shrugged. "It's your choice. Whatever I do won't matter." The happy, joyous Toshi was being destroyed, slowly, by his need to kill.

"Then I'll be right back" he rushed off to Asmo's cave, he wanted her to be happy, but he coulden't let Asmo get her at all.

But Asmo wasn't there. He wasn't even in the area. He probably wasn't even in Konoha anymore.

Toshi sighed, and sat down by the base of a tree. "Yuu-chan, why..."

Yuudaii eventually gave up on looking for Asmo and walked back to where
Toshi was. When he gotthere he said, "Toshi... I've made a descion on what to do with Asmo."

She sighed, unsmiling, looking down. "I know, I know...You're going to kill him..."

"No." he answered firmly. "I've decided to make you happy. The only reason I will come in physical contact with Asmo is if he trys to kill either one of us. And even then, I will not kill him." he raised his right hand as he said this, indacting that he was going to be truthfull to his promis.

"You...You're sure about that?" Toshi asked, eyes wide. "What made you change your mind?" The Yuudai she knew had a one-track mind. Whatever he wanted to do, he'd stick to it. Something very important to him must have changed him.

Yuudai sighed, "You did. I was being selfish. I shoulden't haave left then try to kill Asmo. You make me happy. So if you are happy, then I'm happy. And I will stay faithfull to my promiss."

Toshi blinked, to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. Then she grinned, and jumped on him, hugging tightly. "I love you, I love you, I love you, Yuudai!"

"Me too Toshi! Me too. By the way, when Asmo was controlling you, he said
that you didn't want neither me, nor Aiden. And Aiden thought it was really you. So lets go tell him what happened."
