The Quest For Power

"SHE WAS THE THREAT, DAMMIT, SHE'S A DEMON!" Taka said, getting impatient. "She was destroying the village, and then killed you. You couldn't kill her. That was another reason for the suicide."

"Okay. See ya in 40 or so years." and Yuudai jumped into the hole and came back to life. He instantly sat up and said tto Toshi, "Toshi, we're gonna change the future."

"Ah!" Toshi jumped back, shocked. "Don't scare me like that! And...what do you mean?"

"While I was back there. The angel- thing said that, you kill me because I am going to commit suicide. She said that since you heard that I was going to commit suicide, that you kill me first in worry that I would go to hell if I killed myself. It also said that we have a daughter that dies at like 4. Also that you become a deamon and I can't stop you and die. Ummm, she also said that this all happened about two weeks from my either 20th birthday or 22nd birthday. So we're gonna stop all the bad things that happen."

"So...the most logic to this all is that... we don't get married."

"No offence, but I don't know, and I don't care. The point is: We get to change our destinies! I won't die because you kill me! And I'll become hokage and not have to be K.I.A.!"

Toshi nodded. "Okay, let's think this through. I get sad because our daughter died. Easy, you just marry someone else. And if I become a demon, you get sad, so... I kill myself?"

"NO! What we do is; we deal with the kid dying. We have to get passed you becoming a horrible deamon and me wanting to commit suicide. So on my 20th birthday we start being cautious of things. So all of those bad things don't happen. Sound like a plan?"

"Well, okay. But what about a back up plan? What if I can't stop myself turning into a demon?"

*Sigh* then I become K.I.A., but we'll not worry about that until it comes. I will help you to comtrol the deamon. And if it comes to the worst then I'll either go to Aiden for help, or die. By the way. Where is Aiden? Wasn't he just here?"

"He disappeared when you...died temporarily. He didn't look happy," she said, sighing.

"I'm gonna go find him." he said determind to find out what Aiden was up to. "What are some other places that we could find Aiden?"

"I dunno, this is the only place I know. Um, have you ever seen him alone somewhere?"

"Not really. Then we'll have to look in the places where Aiden usually is. Let's start with the Uchiha mansion, then the raman bar, then a sake bar. And we'll think of other places later."

"Okay," Toshi said solemnly. She got onto Yuudai's back and held on.

Yuudai sprinted to the Uchiha mansion. When they got there they looked around for Aiden. But there were little chances that he was there. They looked anyway.

Toshi looked around, too, where Aiden usually was. Her room, the kitchen, the garden. But he wasn't there. "Where next?" she said, grim.

"I'll check the raman shop, and you check the sake bar. We'll find him faster if we split up and look." he then sprinted off to the raman shop, saying, "If you find him then come and tell me. If not then meet me back at the mansion!"

Toshi nodded, and ran to Aiden's favourite sake bar. But the bartender said Aiden hadn't visited for a week. She even checked a few seedy, run-down bars, but they're not any good either. So she walked back, depressed.

Yuudai checked the raman bar but Aiden wasn't there either. So he headed back to the mansion. When he got there he said, "He isn't at the raman bar. Any luck at the sake bars?"

"Well, no. Aiden-sama hasn't been there in a week. Let's try searching the whole of Konoha," she said grimly, and sprinted away.

"Okay." and he sprinted away too. He searched the whole east side of the village. Nothing. So he went back to the Uchiha mansion.

Toshi had caught a glimpse of something grey and white. So just to be sure, she ran to Yuudai. "Yuu-chan, I think he's at the sunflower meadow!"

He heard her and sprinted with her to the medow. "Are you sure you saw him there? It could've been someone who just looked like him."

"There was the color of his cloak-"

Sure enough, Aiden was sitting in the meadow, looking dreamily at the sunflowers around him. "..."
