Best friends, always. (Naka and Yuudai)

"Still thats a young age to get married, Toshi. Maybe you should tive it more time to make sure he actually loves you"

"Hm, but I trust him." She sighed, resting her chin on her hands after finishing the ramen. "He's sincere, and he's honest..."

"Yes, but does he trust you fully? You must ask yourself: Will he die for you? Will he be willing to stay with you no matter who comes along? Do you think he'll divorce you? Those are questions you need to ponder over and think about by seeing his actions."

Toshi shrugged, still smiling. "I just...I just want to give my heart to someone who'd take good care of it...And, well, as for those questions, I think the man himself must answer. He's nearby, maybe he can join us and answer you."

"Nah, I don't want to see him, ever. You can ask him though." Yuudai has already finished his one bowl and he didn't want to eat anymore.

"Why don't you want to see him?" Toshi asked, kind of sad. She wanted her best friend and boy friend to get along.

"I don't want to see him right now, after that encounter in the forest of death, I relise he can be a brat a lot"

"Eh, I'm a brat too," Toshi pointed out as she sipped on some hot green tea. "And be respectful to your seniors."

"I couldn't care less if that guy was my dad. I still woulden't like him, and Toshi, you're not a brat"

"Ah, Raiden said I was. And well, why don't you like him? Besides the brat thing."

"He's a jerk for one and he disrespects my family. I don't want to kill him though, trust me if I did he'd be at least in the hospital by now"

"He disrespected your family? When?" Toshi asked, frowning.

"It's natural, Toshi. He's decejt from the Hyuuga, a little bit of a rivelry going on there between Sharingan and byakugan"

"Ah. I see. No wonder." Toshi sighed again, running a hand through her hair. "But, please, get along with him. He's kinda nice when you get to know him."

"Highly doubt he'll get used to me, but I'll do my best to get along with him at least until after the weding. Then I'm going to continue to hate his guts"

"Oh, alright then. Just keep your Sharingan off and I'll keep his Byakugan off," Toshi said, sighing.

"Okay" eventhough the peoblem wasn't the eyes they each had, it was their ansestors, naturall rivelry. Not their eyes, but the people who gave them that power. (I think thats a good way to explain)

"...and don't kill him at the ceremony, okay? Anyway~" She trailed off, feigning innocence. The she grinned at him, a knowing look in her eyes. "What's up with you and Ember? Tell me everything!"

"Nothing, you left andme and her didn'treally do anything. All we did was talk and maybe go to Ichiraku a few times and thats it. Then I left."

"Gah! What?! I left so that you could be with her! Yuudai, thethe reason I didn't fight for you was because I wanted you and Ember to be happy without me."

"Now you're making me think everything I did having to do with love was a horrible thing" Yuudai almost sounded like he was complaining, but he always felt hurt when she said something like that.

Toshi sighed, and lightly poked his forehead. "Yuudai. I want you to be happy. And forcing yourself to babysit and pretend loving a brat like me when you're pining for Ember does not make you happy. Go to Ember, and love her! She loves you back, though I'm unsure if it's as much as I love you, but she loves you and you love her back."

*sigh* "I wish this whole thing never happened. I wish I never met you and I wish I never met Ember. Then I woulden't have hurt either of you, and now whenever I see you or talk about anything like how I left you and how you assume I fake loved you hurts me."

Toshi sighed and pat him. "I never ever regret meeting you. Even if my love was unrequited and onesided, you made me believe that you actually loved me." She smiled wryly. "And even if you didn't, it still made me happy seeing you everyday ...and your kisses made me happy..." She blushed, and looked down, ashamed.

Yuudai lifted her chin up so she was looking at him, "You have nothing to be sorry for, nothing to be ashamed for and nothing to mourn for."
