Shin yawned "the truth always comes out Shi, others will discover what you have done" . He lay down despite there being nothing to lay upon. He glanced up a shi before shutting his eyes "will you silence them all little angel, will you tip the balance even more?" he asked

Tama giggled. Okay, with that, she followed her father. She was one of the best of her village Genin and she became Chuunin easily. Was that because of her position, though? "But how did you two get together...?"

"I guess I'll live a good life until that point, won't I now?" Shi closed his eyes, reopening them to glare a Shin. "When they do, I won't make the same mistake again. I'lll just leave to start a new life, no matter how much pain I must endure."

Kinkai leaned back in his new chair " well it's been a long standing tradition that the men of our house married demon wives, my mother was of the angel branch and the elders never liked that". He looked down at the picture "after my father and his demon wife died when kumogakure tried to invade I was made clan head" he pause and removed a white bottle from his new desk. "I was in my late teens and had little interest in settling down but..." he trailed off and poured honeyed wine into a goblet "the elders demanded I find a woman and produce offspring". He smiled faintly " fathers offered up their daughters to me " he scowled and brought the goblet up to his lips. He drank deep and then set it down " but your mother offered herself, I found that admirable so I accepted and we grew to love each other"

"i am sure you will, you were always good at running" shin yawned

"Awwww..." That, too, reminded her of herself. Forcing herself despite what others said. She smiled down at her hands, then looked back up at Kinkai. "What would you do if I were to marry or spawn children with Shin? And what if Shi?"

"Good bye, Shin." Shi said angrily. He removed himself from the box, leaving Shin in the dark. He slid the box into a scroll, which sealed the box away, then he hid the scroll. He removed the Genjutsu and the barrier.

Kinkai poured another goblet of wine " Shi ... Mmm... I don't know" he said taking a sip. He rubbed the bridge of his nose "you may date him but you shall remain untouched until your no longer a teen " kinkai said sternly. He looked at her " these are the terms I give you, agree to them and you have my blessing" he glanced down at the picture "Ai would want these terms aswell"

Shin sighed "finally.... I thought he would never leave". A giant of a man stepped out from the shadows and clasped shin on the shoulder " he is a foolish boy believing he can run from this" the man said with a grin. Shin nodded in agreement "so Azrael when shall my soul be freed of it's prison?" the boy asked the giant.
Bright green eyes glowed in the darkness and a smile twisted on his pale face "not for you have years yet, but vengeance shall be yours when balance is restored" said the giant before he vanished. Shin smiled "excellent" he whispered into the nothingness

"Okay, so I stay ...innocent. But there's another question you haven't answered. Am I, or am I not allowed to marry Shi-chan? Because even if you say no, we'll just elope. Marrying with your blessing just makes it easier. And I'm pretty sure Mother would allow us."

" you can do what you wish, how you act will determine the fate of many" he said looking at her sternly. "until your brother grows up you are my heir and every choice you make will have consequences" he spoke in a solem tone "relations with some of the branch houses are bad enough do not marry, wait until your older"

"I doubt I will stay heir." Tama shrugged and looked t him stonily. "I was never good enough for you, I knew that. You always favored your sons, no matter what I do. The only reason Kyo isn't heir right now is his temper. But once he matures, you will replace me with him. I can move mountains, make it rain or anything that you ask me for, but I'll never be enough." Tama got up. She bowed and went to check up on her sick Bisho.

Shi had taken some medicine in order to help hide his cold. Maybe he could convince Tama he was okay, and he wouldn't need to stay in bed all day. He left to go find her, bumping into Tama when he opened the door.

Tama blinked and then picked him up by the scruff of his neck. "Where do you think you're going?" she tutted. "Back to bed, kiddo, before I get my Father here." She smiled, opened the door to his room and tossed him into bed.

Shi walked back into the bed on his own. "Stop calling me kiddo, I'm a week away from being as you and taller." Shi shot back angrily, he was sick of being trapped in bed and more sick of being treated as a child by Tama. He stood up, grabbing his sword up off the floor. He strapped the sword to his back and ran for the window, jumping out. Thank god he had opened the window before. From there, he ran from the clan house, towards the village.

Tama sighed. Fine, if he wanted to get sick, then go ahead. She had two months worth of D-rank missions to do. Hers and his. Tama got her sword and went to the council.

Shi had stopped his running after he was sure Tama wasn't after him. Yawning, he looked around. He escaped... now what? He did need to do those month of D ranks. Stupid Kinkai, getting mad just because he lost some cheap porn. Shi headed for the council room.

Kinkai sighed and looked at the photo of Ai " I need a vaccation " he muttered. He traced the outline of her face and got to his feet. He wrote a note to the council stating Tama would be acting head. He grabbed the scroll containing Aeris and Nero, he strapped prophet to his back and jumped out the open window

Tama reached the council and strolled in. She was about to ask for the list of D-rank missions when one of the elders told her the news. At that, she paled. Tama was the clan head for now? "F... Father...how could you do this to me.."

Shi entered, feeling a lot better with the medicine in his system. He saw Tama, probably getting a mission. He strolled over to her, noticing the pale look. "Anything wrong, Tama-chan?"

Tama passed him a piece of paper. It even had Kinkai's signature on it. It made Tama the official clan head. "I... I'm...the temporary head..." she mumbled.

"Oh... wow.... Er... you feel okay? The note says only temporary. He'll be back." Shi attempted to comfort Tama, stepping a little bit closer and wrapping his left arm around Tama's waist.
