A Shinobi Approaches

"You're not a weapon", Shiro protested. "You're... my friend!"
He did not understand how one could want to fight.
Sometimes you had to. But you would not want to...

"Yeah I am your friend," Kai smiled and patted Shiro on the head, "Now what do you want to do for the next week?" Kai asked, he wanted to keep himself pre-occupied.

"I don't know", Shiro replied, looking up at Kai. "What can we do? I... I usually don't do much but... see how I can get money and stuff like that", he added, vaguely mentioning his former work.

Kai was caught off guard by this question... He didn't know what there was to do, he was always doing missions or training and if he didn't have anything to do, he would just read... Kai gave Shito some Ryo, and told him to look for something for them to partake in.

Shiro looked at the money and suddenly started grinning. "Can we go swimming? Please?", he asked. He had never been to the hot springs before, not to mention a real pool. He could not even swim. But he wanted to go there because he had always thought it looked like fun when kids were going there with their friends or their parents.

Kai smiled, he'd never actually been to the hot springs, he'd never really decided to. "Sure we can..." Kai smiled and ruffled up Shiro's hair. "We may as well go now" Kai said.

After leaving the house, Kai accidently took Shiro the wrong way for 10 minutes and after apoligizing they found themselves standing infront of the Hot Springs Doors...

Kai felt uneasy... He had no Idea what he was supposed to do or how he was supposed to behave, he slowly walked up to the receptionist, he had a confused expression on his face... "Two... Tickets? for the Hotsprings" Kai Asked

The receptionist laughed and put her hand over her mouth to try and hide her smile. "The male changing rooms are down this corridoor to the left, and for security reasons we'll need you to hand over any weapons you may be carrying..." Kai then began to remove his ninja equipment, a few shurikens and kunai but Kai wasnt scared, he would be surrounded by Water so he'd have the advantage if a fight came up...

Shiro avoided to look at Kai when he slowly put several kitchen knifes on the lady's counter. He had stolen them from Kai and hidden them all over his body, it was out of habit. "Can we go inside?", he asked as though nothing had happened, dragging Kai along with him. "Will we be alone there?", he asked, afraid someone might see his several scars.

Kai was initially dissapointed in Shiro... He understood it would of made him feel protected but to steal from him was what confused him... Kai looked at the Receptionist and smiled, he was a little embarrassed, the counter now looked like a small ninja store... "Yeah we can go in." Kai replied to Shiro...

Kai was then quickly tugged down the corridoor, "Erm, I'm not sure, I think it's an open spring... but it's a tuesday so most people will be working, so there will be not many people..."

Kai and Shiro found their way into the Changing Room... Kai got changed quite quickly and had a towel wrapped round his lower body... "I'm going in, meet you in there" he said and smiled.

Shiro nodded, undressing himself slowly. He had a bad conscience because he had stolen knifes from his friend and 'brother' but he did not intend to really take them anywhere. But without them he was able to protect neither himself nor Kai. When he was undressed, a towel wrapped tightly around his waist, Shiro followed Kai inside, peeking around the corners. It was very noticeable how shy he was, afraid to be seen naked and vulnerable like this.

Kai was starting to ease up and relax, here he could be truly carefree, he sat in one of the moulded under water chairs and laid his head on the rest, placed a towel on his forehead and closed his eyes ... Kai exhaled loudly... He was at peace with the world...

He opened one eye and saw Shiro being very shy... "Come on Shiro, the water feels great."

Shiro quickly made his way to the water, glad he could hide his scars below the surface. He was staying in the more shallow parts, not wanting to show Kai that he was not able to swim. However, he wanted to be closer to the younger, who unfortunately was quite a bit taller than himself. So Shiro decided to jump from where he stood and let himself float towards Kai. However, he barely reached his friend and had to hold on to him so his head stayed above the surface. "I'm too short", Shiro whispered, as though someone could here him and he was clinging to Kai.

Kai laughed, he moved him up on to a moulded seat, "This, feels, sooooooo goood... I only wish I had a book with me..." he said, unlike Shiro he didn't whisper, there was no one around. Kai placed his head on the headrest and began to relax again...

"I could do this every day..." He said in a serene tone, he felt good. "What about you?" Kai Asked.

"Yeah... it's warm", Shiro said, the simple thought of it making him grin.
He was used only to moving in cold water of rivers, if at all as it was too dangerous for him to move too far from the banks. "I like how you feel so light when you move around in water... it's like you could fly", Shiro mumbled, leaning against Kai. He was constantly trying to get close to him, not even noticing all of the time.

Kai yawned... "Yeah... It does feel like your flying." Kai didn't really notice Shiro... Kai was so relaxed he was almost falling asleep... His eyes felt heavy and his words began to slur... "Shiro, Immah, Immah take a small, nap..." Kai said softly...

Shiro did not really listen but when he realized Kai was going to sleep he was alarmed.
Of course he was going to take care to hold Kai upright so he would not drown but even Shiro knew that if you stayed in the hot water too long your circulation was going bad somehow and... oh he did not exactly know what happened but it had to do with circulation and it was bad. "Kai-kun...", Shiro mumbled, worried but leaning against Kai in a way the other was not going to tumble to the side.

Kai didn't hear Shiro, he was too relaxed to notice anything from his surrounding area, he had faith in Shiro, if something was wrong Shiro would wake him. It seemed easy enough...

At first Shiro did not notice and when he did it was too late already. Kai was slipping from him and suddenly he was... gone. Below the surface. Shiro screamed in panic, letting himself sink down to get Kai up - which was a really tough task if you could not swim. Especially because Shiro did not know how to make his way to the surface again. Also, he could not find Kai anymore. If the other had already woken up and walked away, he would not know Shiro was down here... Or had Kai been carried away? Shiro panicked, he needed to help his friend! And while he was at it, he needed someone to safe his life, too...

Kai awoke startled, drowning, he quickly swam to the surface gasping for air. "SHIRO?!" he asked angrily, he looked around... "Shiro...?! SHIRO?!" This time with panic and fear... Kai quickly shouted "Water Clone Jutsu" quickly a mass amount of clones appeared behind him, half held their breathe and submerged under water to look for Shiro, the others were to look around the pool edge. Kai had also submerged looking for him.

He spotted him falling to the bottom of the spring, about to lose conciousness... Kai quickly dived down and carried him to the top... He placed Shiro on the side... "Come on.... Come on.... Wake up..." Kai said to him.

Shiro awoke coughing. It took him a moment to remember... somehow he had managed to reach the surface, for a second maybe, maybe less, then he had passed out from the heat in combination with his lack of air and his panic. Now he was laying on his back, Kai sitting next to him, bent over him. After a while Shiro was done coughing, still staring into Kai's worried eyes. Following his instinct Shiro lifted his torso, support himself on his elbows - and kissed Kai's lips.

Kai was shocked and his face went red... He was suddenly very aware of the situation... Kai couldn't think straight for a second... 'Did he just?!', it was hard for Kai to come to terms with it, he had started to feel as if Shiro was like a little brother and now...? Now he didn't know what to believe...

Kai jumped backward a little... Still glowing red with embarrasement...

Shiro innocently looked at Kai.
As he never had a real brother, he was not familiar to the feelings of restriction towards siblings. Of course he wanted Kai as his brother. But he wanted to be close to him, too. Sex being the only form of closeness he had ever experienced, in good as much as in bad, Shiro did not feel like he had done anything wrong. Shyly crawling closer to Kai, Shiro attempted to snuggle up against him.

Kai was a little uneasy... He wanted to say something, so Shiro didnt feel as if he had done something terrible... maybe Kai should do something push him away... No that would be too hard...

After a few awkward seconds Kai was aware Shiro was looking at him for some response, without thinking Kai moved towards Shiro and kissed him softly on the lips... His face going blistering red again... "Erm, I..." Kai tried to explain, but words wouldnt form."

Shiro's eyes were shining with happiness, Kai had responded to his wish and agreed.
Grinning from one ear to the other Shiro hugged Kai, not wanting to ever let him go.
The boy's heart seemed to be jumping and something inside him felt tingly and excited.
As though it was a game Shiro kissed Kai again, waiting for a response once more.
It was just too good to feel his lips...

As Shiro hugged Kai, he suddenly became notice of the fact that they were naked....
Kai was extemely embarrassed... As well as that Shiro began to try and kiss him
once more... Allthough this time... Kai almost wanted it... He never had this closeness
with anyone before....

He saw Shiro was waiting for a response again... This time Kai put more meaning into
his kiss, leaning into Shiro, showing more emotion in it.
"Sh-shiro, I..." Kai tried to say...

Shiro shook his head when Kai wanted to speak and smiled.
He was so happy. They could talk later.
Moving forward a little, Shiro was now sitting on Kai's lap.
He did not mind they were both naked at all.
This time he kissed Kai longer, enjoying the feeling with closed eyes.
Shiro's hands moved on their own, one searching for Kai's hand, the other gently stroking the side of Kai's waist.
