Tsukiakara waited for Yukiko to get done cooking. It would be rude to not eat at the same time with her. So he laid back on the couch and closed his eyes.

Soon she was done and came out with two plates of fried rice with vegetables and bacon, she hadn't had a hot meal in a while as she placed them down on the table "I don't care what you say, and if you don't eat it willingly I will be forced to shovel it down your throat" she put her hands on her hips and smiled cheekily, daring for a challenge.

“Fine” he said as he reached for some chopsticks. He didn’t want to see what she would do to him if he didn’t.

She sat beside him and picked up the chopsticks, she started eating and glanced at Tsukiakara "so what do you think of my cooking?" she asked once she had swallowed her mouthful.

“I love it.” He exclaimed. It tasted far better then his cooking. “How did you learn to cook so good?”

She grinned at his compliment, she rarely got any "well I've been on my own for five years, I've had to learn or go hungry" she joked and chewed another mouthful, drifting out in thought.

“Sorry for your loss.” he said. He knew how it felt to lose your family. His entire clan was recently wiped out a couple of months ago. He took another bite of the food.

They ate in silence and Yukiko took the plates when they were done "make yourself at home" she smiled and went in the kichen to clean the dishes

Tsukiakara sat their peacefully on the couch. It just felt so good to see in one even if it had only been a few days of traveling. He closed his eyes a tad bit.

Yukiko returned and stood in front of the couch with her hands on her hips, looking down at Tsukiakara, he had fallen asleep, she smiled and went to have a shower and get changed.

She closed the bathroom door behind her, turned on the water and stripped, chucking her dirty clothes in the wash basket for later, she stepped into the warm waters and sighed in relief, the soft, steady stream of the water untensing her muscles.

Tsukiakara lay their sleeping even at times snoring. (He snored when he was extremely tired). His anti-sleep pills finally caught up with him.

Yukiko stepped out of the shower after the water had run cold, it must have been a while. She walked to her room and got changed into a simple Kimono with Black and Blue patterns on it, she was extremly tired and walked to the couch, she placed a blanket on the sleeping boy and placed a pillow under his head.

Yukiko yawned and walked back up to her bedroom, to tired to do anything, she pulled the covers over herself and colapsed into the gentle embrace of sleep.

The morning sun rose and shined on Tsukiakara’s face. He had spelt the whole night. As he gave a load yawn, he sat up. He wondered where Yukiko was this morning.

Yukiko was still asleep in her bed, she hadn't had a goodnights sleep in such a while and it was a comfy bed.

Tsukiakara got out of bed. He remembered that he couldn’t leave without Yukiko breaking the seal so he needed to think of something else to do in the mean time. He went into the kitchen. Maybe he could make breakfast for here as a way to repay her.

Yukiko awoke as the smells of something cooking drifted in "mmm" she murmed as her mouth watered, she stood and made her way to the kitchen "something smells good" she said as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Oh morning.” Tsukiakara said as he noticed Yukiko. “I was just making some eggs and bacon for breakfast.”

"well let's hope it tastes as good as it smells" she joked and sat down at the kitchen table, she was glad he knew how to cook, she didn't feel like doing anything this morning.

Tsukiakara smiled and gave a little laugh at Yukiko’s joke. A few more minutes of cooking and the food was prepared. “The food’s done” He said to Yukiko as he handed her a plate.

Yukiko sat with the plate and a knife and fork "good to see you found your way around the house" she mused taking a bite, her eyes widened in amazement "this is delicious Tsukiakara!" she exclaimed taking another bite of the food.

“Thanks. My mom taught me. All the Hakujin parents were required to teach their kids how to survive in the event they…” Tsukiakara paused and took a bite of the food. He then chewed and swallowed. “…died” he finished.

Yukiko stopped eating and stared at him "are your parents dead?" she asked quietly, trying no to upset him in case they were

He nodded his head yes and took another bite of the food. As he chewed his mind wondered back to their funeral. He pulled out a golden locket from his neck and opened it. After he was done chewing he spoke, “It’s ok though. When I was just a little boy my parents made me promise them. That I would live my life as if they we right beside me.” He said as he looked at the locket.

"that's really sweet Tsukiakara" she admitted taking another thoughtful bite of food, she had learnt to live without her parents but she would have liked to see them now.

Tsukiakara stopped eating his food and stared at the locket. He was going to make them proud. He was going to be the first Hakujin jonin in over 30 years. Maybe if he worked even harder he would make it to the village head of the Hidden Valley Village.
