Journey into The Mist ( Toshi & Kaji )

" Fine Ill take you for Chicken Pie after the beach " he said slinging the bag over his shoulder " Lets go Toshi Chan"

"Yay, to the beach!" Toshi smiled and took his hand as they walked. "Is it a public beach, or a private, Susanoo one?"

Kaji chuckled " while the Susanoo have a beach its rather rocky not exactly great for making sand castles " he told her matter-o-factly "the beach we are going to is public"

"Yaaay, then I can watch the kiddies play!" Toshi said, excitedly, hopping up and down.

he walked out the door with her following "yeah you can do that...ill soak up what sun we have before it runs away"

~ At the beach ~

The beach wasn't very crowded that day, with only a few people mucking around. "...no kiddies," Toshi said, disappointed.

Kaji didnt really care lots of kids meant lots of , screaming, crying and whining "eh theres other stuff to do " he said laying the blanket over a nice plot of white sand

"Ah...yeah..." Toshi sighed, changed into her swimsuit in a booth and sat down on the blanket. It was a one-piece, tight and bright green. "Hm, wanna go take a dip now?" she asked, smiling up at him.

Kaji gulped 'not a pervert not a Pervert ' he repeated in his mind "Hai" he said removing his socks and shoes " to the water" he said walking away from the blanket

"Banzaaaaai!" Toshi grinned, took his hand and ran at the water with him. She pushed him in, and fell in herself.

Kaji fell back into the cool salty water he watched toshi splash around while he just floated in one place

"Whee!" Toshi was wading around in the shallow parts of the water, but was looking enviously at the deep parts. "...."

Kaji tilted his head at her blank expression " Can you swim " he asked

Toshi looked down and shook her head. "No. Never learned how to. I can only float."

" oh its okay toshi chan " he said " want me to teach you "

Toshi smiled to him gratefully. "Really? Thank you!" she squealed, hugging him.

They started with some simple floating exercises, kaji told her to mover her arms back and forth like her arms were swings and some little kid was swinging lightly back and forth. then he filled her mid way through and she panicked but i was there "just your head above the water by kick with your feet and move your arms like I told you"

"O-okay..." Toshi gulped and tried to do as he told. But she only did a bit of it until she squeaked and latched onto him. "UWAAAA....!"

He sighed dragging her back to the shallow waters " well toshi chan at least your good on your back " passers by look at them . . .mainly him in disgust

Toshi sniffed and smiled weakly, ignoring the many stares. "Ah...thank you..Come on, let's make a sandcastle..."

Kaji looked around " did I say something" he asked
" oh yeah lets do that " he said in his best chibi voice

"Yaaay!" Toshi grinned and started to build a small tower in the sand pile near their blanket.

Kaji used his shadow to carve out the details after toshi was done
" It looks pretty good ne Toshi"

"Yay! It looks great," she agreed, nodding. "I'm going to go find some shells for it. You stay here." Toshi gave him a quick hug and then went away with a bucket.

A few minutes later, a group of three young girls passed through the beach, and saw Kaji. Long story short, they instantly took interest and approached him.

Kaji was lying back enjoying the sun untill it was blocked by a strange girl " um can I help you ....and could you move your blocking my sunlight"
